Zeus Ze Zecond: Slot Overview
One of the easiest tricks in a slot developer’s playbook is to take an existing game, strip away the original theme, dress it in a new look, and release it as a “new” title. Reskins can sound a bit cynical, but they’re also an efficient way to expand a catalogue without the heavy lift of building something truly fresh. That brings us to Hacksaw Gaming’s Zeus Ze Zecond, which isn’t a redo of Ze Zeus at all, but instead a direct copy of the Smokey Le Bandit slot Le Zeus. Same Greek god and the same core mechanics—just presented with a very different on-screen identity.
Visually, Zeus Ze Zecond doesn’t really fit the usual Greek mythology slot mould. Yes, Zeus appears, and there are pillars and similar cues, but the warped perspectives, the rock hand gesture, and the bold pop-art/comic-book presentation suggest Hacksaw Gaming is experimenting with a different kind of visual punch, perhaps borrowing from its Chaos Crew-style vibe. The overall look is miles away from its related titles: a punky, comic-inspired, anti-establishment take on one of online slots’ most established themes.

Zeus Ze Zecond plays on a 6×5 grid, with wins formed across 19 paylines. There are four feature buys available, and players can set stakes from $/€0.10 to $/€50 in this medium volatile slot, where the main RTP setting is 96.26%.
The paytable includes four playing card suits, plus banners, shields and helmets, chalices, skulls, eagles, and Zeus icons. The four suit symbols return 3x the stake for a 6 OAK win, while the other premium symbols pay between 5x to 100x for landing 6 OAK. Wilds top them all, paying 200x for 6, and they also substitute for the standard paying symbols.
Zeus Ze Zecond: Slot Features

Below is a breakdown of the Wonder Reveal mechanic, the three bonus rounds, and the available feature buys.
Wonder Reveal
Wonder symbols can appear stacked vertically on the reels, and when they do, they reveal high-paying symbols, all wilds, or a Wonder Reel. In standard play, Wonder symbols can land on any reel except the leftmost. If a Wonder symbol reveals high pays or wilds that contribute to a win, a respin occurs: all revealed symbols turn back into Wonder symbols and stay sticky for the respin. Once the respin ends, the symbols reveal again and any additional wins are paid out.
Wonder Reels are created when one or more Wonder symbols land on the same reel. Those positions then spin to reveal Coins, Diamonds, Clovers, or Pots of Olympus symbols. Bronze Coins, Silver Coins, Gold Coins, and Diamonds reveal values of 0.2x-4x, 5x-20x, 25x-100x, and 150x-500x the stake, respectively. After the reveal, Green Clover symbols multiply all Coins, Diamonds, or existing Pots of Olympus on adjacent positions by x2 to x20, while Gold Clovers multiply all Coins, Diamonds, or existing Pots of Olympus by the same value range.
Pots of Olympus symbols then activate after Clovers, by collecting the values of all Coins, Diamonds, and other Pots of Olympus symbols on the grid and storing the total value. Once this happens, every symbol on the Wonder Reels except the Pot of Olympus spins again, and the sequence repeats. When all reveals and activations finish, the accumulated values are paid, and the Wonder Reels disappear before the next spin.
Gates of Hades Bonus Game
This bonus is triggered by landing 3 scatters in the base game, awarding 8 free spins. Alongside the base mechanics, any Wonder symbols that land become sticky for the duration of the bonus, and the minimum Coin value is 1x.
Godly Ascension Bonus Game
Landing 4 scatters starts this feature with 8 free spins. It preserves the base game rules and adds a Wonder Meter shown outside the grid. Every time a Wonder symbol lands, the Wonder Meter increases by +1 step. Once it is filled by 25 symbols, a reward spin is triggered after the current spin ends. During the reward spin, every position is covered by a Wonder Reel, and the only possible reveals are Coins, Diamonds, Clovers, or Pots of Olympus symbols. On the first reward spin, all Coin types (including Diamonds) can appear. With each following reward spin, the minimum Coin type increases by +1 step up to Diamond, removing the lower-value Coin symbols each time. The minimum Coin value in this bonus is 1x. After the reward spin ends, the grid resets, the updated minimum Coin type applies to the next reward spin, and the Multiplier Meter returns to zero, allowing it to be filled again later.
Zeus Unleashed Hidden Epic Bonus
Hitting 5 scatters awards 8 free spins in this bonus. It follows the same rules as Gates of Hades, except reels 2-5 are filled with Wonder symbols immediately. Low-paying symbols cannot land in this bonus, and the minimum Coin value is 5x.
Feature Buys
Feature buys include BonusHunt FeatureSpins, priced at 3x to make each spin 5 times more likely to trigger a bonus game, and Divine FeatureSpins at 50x, which guarantee at least 6 Wonder symbols land. Gates of Hades costs 80x, or Godly Ascension may be bought for 300x the stake.

Zeus Ze Zecond: Slot Verdict
In an unusual turn, Zeus Ze Zecond has far more in common with Le Zeus than it does with Ze Zeus. It’s so similar that it effectively functions as a clean reskin—a clone that trades the sandal-wearing raccoon for a headbanging version of the ruler of Olympus. Some players will understandably sigh at the absence of new mechanics, but there’s still something appealing about Hacksaw Gaming refusing to treat the Greek mythology theme in the usual straight-laced way. It won’t be making any “most innovative” lists, yet it borrows the same feature set introduced by Le Bandit, which has already shown strong popularity.
Still, it’s fair to wonder whether we really needed another entry like this, particularly since Zeus Ze Zecond brings no fresh mechanical twist at all. The Wonder Reveal loop and its collect-style flow remain as effective as ever, but anyone familiar with the earlier titles will struggle to shake the feeling of repetition. It’s the textbook “if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it” approach—though the lack of even a small numerical adjustment or a new modifier may leave some feeling like they’ve taken the same lightning strike one time too many.
On the upside, the art direction is a major draw, and Zeus Ze Zecond’s style lands well, injecting a comic-book superhero edge into a genre that often sticks to safe tradition. It’s a strange and arguably non-essential release, but for players who like the ‘Le’ series and simply didn’t click with the raccoon theme, this darker, more stylised Zeus Ze Zecond could be the better way to enjoy the formula.
