Ultimate? That’s arguable. Wolf Gold Ultimate stays very close to the original Wolf Gold, only swapping in a more pumped-up hold ‘n win-style round and removing the Giant symbol free spins feature. The likely reason is to funnel more of the RTP into the respins. In the earlier game, free spins added a welcome change of pace, and the GIANT symbols across the middle three reels were a memorable visual. It’s not a deal-breaker, but some fans of the first game may miss it—unless you’re firmly in the camp that hold ‘n wins are all that matter.

That said, not all hold ‘n wins feel the same. Wolf Gold Ultimate’s Money Respins can introduce special symbols if you manage to reach the 5×1 fourth grid, but this isn’t a Money Train title, and it probably was never trying to be. Even with the Multiplier, Plus Cash, and Collector in the mix, the Money Respins gameplay remains fairly straightforward: land Money symbols and take their values at the end.
