Triple Pot Gold: Slot Overview
If one pot of gold is a good thing, then three should be even better. That’s the idea behind Pragmatic Play’s online slot Triple Pot Gold, an Asian-themed title where pots hand out modifiers for the bonus round. Variety isn’t really the aim, though, as every modifier is simply a multiplier that increases the values of collected Money symbols.
Triple Pot Gold makes a small attempt to avoid blending in with the many other budget Asian-themed slots out there. The backdrop is a crimson patterned wallpaper-style design, with swirling cloud and wave accents along the top and bottom. Those touches are nicely done, but the overall screen still isn’t especially exciting. The soundtrack follows the same path, leaving Triple Pot Gold feeling, overall, as generic as this style of slot tends to be.

In terms of stats, Triple Pot Gold is a highly volatile online slot running on a 5×3 reelset. Wins are formed via a ways mechanic, with 243 ways to win available. The default RTP is listed as 96.02% when staking 20 c to $/€300 per spin or purchasing free spins, or 96.01% when playing with the ante bet. With the ante bet enabled, the wager rises by 25%, increasing the chance of winning free spins because extra scatters appear on the reels.
A 5-of-a-kind line of J-A low symbols returns 1 to 2.5 times the bet, while 5 matching flowers, fans, drums, lanterns, or boats pays 3.75 to 15 times the bet. Wilds assist in forming wins by substituting for all standard paying symbols.
Triple Pot Gold: Slot Features

Triple Pot Gold can drop Money symbols on every reel except the far-right one. When Money symbols land, they carry values from 2x to 500x. The Collect symbol appears only on the rightmost reel. If a Collect symbol lands, it collects the values of all Money symbols currently on screen.
Free Spins
Bat, Dragon, and Tiger scatters are collected into their respectively highlighted pots when they appear. Randomly, when 1, 2, or 3 scatters hit, the free spins feature may trigger with a combination of 1, 2, or 3 modifiers tied to the scatters that landed. In free spins, Money symbols award their value without requiring a Collect symbol to land on the rightmost reel.
- Bat scatter modifier – multipliers of x2 and x3 are added to the two leftmost reels in addition to any multiplier already present on them. The multipliers apply to the value of Money symbols on those reels.
- Dragon scatter modifier – multipliers of x3, x5 and x3 are added to reels 2, 3, and 4 in addition to any multiplier already present on them. The multipliers apply to the value of Money symbols on those reels.
- Tiger scatter modifier – multipliers of x3 and x2 are added to the two rightmost reels in addition to any multiplier already present on them. The multipliers apply to the value of Money symbols on those reels.
The feature starts with 6 free spins, and any scatters that land can randomly trigger more modifiers, switching on multipliers for their associated reels. Whenever one or more modifiers activate during the feature, +3 extra free spins are added.
Feature Buy
You can purchase the free spins round for 80x the bet, starting the feature with 1, 2, or 3 modifiers.

Triple Pot Gold: Slot Verdict
Triple Pot Gold didn’t arrive with much hype, and that muted feeling didn’t really change by the time the session ended. A big reason is that much of the gameplay feels very similar to Lucky’s Wild Pub, another Pragmatic Play slot reviewed around the same period that also uses Money symbols, a familiar slot concept, and a bonus that can trigger with 1, 2, or 3 modifiers. In Triple Pot Gold, the modifiers are also all effectively identical, applying reel multipliers and little else. Multipliers can stack, which is a plus, but there isn’t much depth beyond building reel multipliers and collecting Money symbol values.
To be fair, Money symbols can still pay in the base game when Collect symbols appear at the same time, and changing the mechanic so Money symbols always pay in free spins makes that bonus round the clear target. Even though it looks like the sort of game that might include one, Triple Pot Gold doesn’t feature a local jackpot mechanic, for better or worse. Still, with 500x as the highest Money symbol value, landing one in a strong multiplier spot could be worthwhile in a slot where the maximum payout is capped at 5,000x. For the right type of player, Triple Pot Gold could serve as a decent time-filler, but it never becomes particularly compelling, held back by its generic feel and limited feature set.
