Star Bounty ended up being a genuinely nice surprise from Pragmatic Play. Strong visuals paired with a fitting soundtrack create a great setting to play in. The reel layout is a bit unusual, but it complements the futuristic theme and works smoothly with the pay system. Add in a couple of practical features, and there isn’t much to complain about.

Tumbles help the base game maintain a pleasing rhythm, although it would have been a bonus if they were combined with a win multiplier during free spins. As it stands, the wild multipliers in the free spins round can still generate strong payouts on their own.

In testing, bonus-round wins were respectable without being spectacular, which may raise doubts about the game’s ceiling. Pragmatic states that 25,000x the stake is achievable. That’s enormous, but even if you triggered the full 24 free spins, you’d need to average over 1,000x per spin—does that sound realistic, or more like science fiction?
