Rocket Fellas Inc Introduction
Bright, cosy, and full of character—though held back a little by its fixed paylines—that’s Rocket Fellas Inc in a nutshell. If you’re after the complete picture, keep going, because there’s more going on beneath the surface.
One of the first things we noticed from the early screenshots was how closely it resembles Quickspin’s Dwarfs Gone Wild—so much so that, to our embarrassment, we briefly mixed them up and forgot it was actually a Thunderkick title. It’s easy to see why: both games revolve around mining dwarfs, and the cartoon-style presentation is fairly similar. Luckily, that’s largely where the overlap ends, because while Dwarfs Gone Wild didn’t quite deliver, Rocket Fellas Inc feels far more on point.
Rocket Fellas Inc is a 5-reel, 4-row video slot with 30 fixed paylines. It runs smoothly across all devices, and the betting range goes from €0.10 up to €100. The core mechanic is the Rocket Fist feature, which Thunderkick apparently rates highly enough to patent. Or perhaps it’s simply a tongue-in-cheek response to the current MegaWays craze—hard to say.
Backed by a funky, disco-flavoured soundtrack, Rocket Fellas Inc also has a surprisingly neat overall presentation. The HD graphics are clean, colourful, and filled with small animations that keep everything feeling lively. Once the reels start spinning, you’re quickly pulled into the world of these eccentric miners, and the story is straightforward with no loose ends: they’re chasing riches—and so are you.
Rocket Fellas Inc Symbols & Paytable
Across the reels you’ll see 4 low-value symbols shown as blue, green, yellow, and red gems. The 5 high-value symbols include four different miners plus a barrel, and the barrel comes with a special role that will become clear shortly. It’s also the top payer, awarding 30 times the stake for landing 5 across a full payline. The wild symbol also has unique properties and matches the payout value of the highest-paying symbol.
In both the base game and the bonus, symbols can appear stacked on the reels, though rarely covering them completely. Thanks to the Rocket feature, hitting a full-screen set of the top-paying symbol isn’t out of the question, which would result in the maximum win of 900 times the stake per single spin.
Rocket Feature
While playing, one or more rockets can randomly show up on the left reel. A rocket will turn the leftmost symbol it lands on into a wild, along with any barrel that appear on the same row. On top of that, any other barrel symbol on the same reel as the transformed barrel will also convert into the wild symbol. It can read a bit complicated on paper, but it becomes very clear once you see it in action.
Rocket Fellas Inc Free Spins

Landing 3, 4 or 5 Iron Fist scatter symbols awards 10, 15 or 20 free spins respectively. During the bonus, 2 or more scatters will add extra free spins as follows:
- 2 scatters: +3 free spins
- 3 scatters: +10 free spins
- 4 scatters: +15 free spins
- 5 scatters: +20 free spins
In the free spins feature, players gain access to Sticky wilds and the Hot reels feature. As in the main game, rockets can randomly appear on the leftmost reel. This time, rather than only converting barrels into wilds, every transformed wild also becomes sticky. In addition, any reel that contains Sticky wilds becomes a Hot reel, meaning any barrel landing on the same reel as a Sticky wild will now turn into a wild even without assistance from the Rocket feature. To become sticky, though, it still relies on the Rocket feature. Keep in mind as well that because the first reel is occupied by the Rocket Fist, sticky wilds cannot activate on the first reel. Put simply, a full screen of sticky wilds cannot happen.
As you’d expect, the free spins round offers a lot of upside. With Sticky wilds combined with re-triggers, it’s possible to reach the maximum win of 7325 times the stake.
Rocket Fellas Inc Conclusion
Not long ago we called out Yggdrasil Gaming for using a 4-row, 25 paylines format in Time Travel Tigers, and Rocket Fellas Inc shares some of that same limitation. If it were up to us, we’d have preferred Rocket Fellas Inc as a 1024 win ways slot, although the stacked symbols and the Rocket feature do ensure you’ll still see plenty of multi-line wins.
Rocket Fellas Inc clearly revolves around its free spins feature, which is where the real potential sits. That said, as a volatile slot, players should be prepared for a fair number of underwhelming, low-paying bonuses—simply part of the deal with high-upside games, so play carefully. At its core, we think this Thunderkick release has what it takes to keep a wide range of players engaged: strong visuals, engaging mechanics, and—perhaps most importantly—serious winning potential.
