Money Stacks: Slot Overview
It may sound like a full-on, no-limits splurge, but Money Stacks is simply the title of a retro-styled online slot from casino game developer Pragmatic Play. The throwback vibe isn’t limited to the classic, funky presentation; the feature set also leans heavily into familiar territory. That goes for individual mechanics like the standard Money Collect setup, and for the overall package too, as this particular mix of ideas has been put together in a very similar way before—more than once—by a competing studio.
Chances are, you’ve seen something that looks a lot like Money Stacks in one form or another. The backdrop tries to grab attention with lively flashing lights, while the reels are filled with traditional slot icons. Rather than pairing it with a disco-style soundtrack, though, Money Stacks opts for something closer to hip hop, or a trance-tinged hip hop beat. That at least feels a bit different, even if much of the rest comes across as fairly familiar.

A key highlight in Money Stacks is the 6-reel, 4-row layout, with 3 jackpot prizes displayed alongside an Ante Bet and a Feature Buy option. Before looking at those two extras, players can set stakes from 20 c to $/€240 per spin, which results in an RTP of 96.51%-96.55% when playing this way. Stakes double with the Ante Bet (RTP 96.51%-96.59%), which also triples the chance of activating the feature. Money Stacks combines high volatility with 4,096 ways to win.
All wins are paid left to right on adjacent reels starting from the far-left reel, and there are eleven standard pay symbols. Low symbols are 9-A card ranks, while the higher symbols are lemons, cherries, grapes, watermelons, and 7s. The royals return 1 to 1.5 times the bet for a 6 OAK way, and the higher icons pay 2 to 5 times the bet for 6 matching symbols in a win. Wilds can land on every reel except the leftmost, and they substitute for all symbols except scatters, Money symbols, and Collect symbols.
Money Stacks: Slot Features

Blitz-style action can happen through the Money Collect feature or inside the bonus round, where players choose between free spins with random multipliers or Bullion Blitz Spins. The two options play very differently, and both can also be entered via the feature buy.
Money Collect Feature
When Money symbols land, they show a value of 0.5x to 20x the bet, or one of the fixed prizes: the 25x Mini, 250x Major, or the 2,500x Grand. Collect symbols can appear on the leftmost and rightmost reels. When they land, Collect symbols collect all of the Money symbol values currently visible.
Free Spins
Hitting 3, 4, 5, or 6 scatter symbols pays 1x, 2x, 3x, or 5x the bet, and also opens the bonus round where players pick free spins with random multipliers or Bullion Blitz Spins.
Free Spins With Random Multipliers
When this option is triggered with 3, 4, 5, or 6 scatters, it awards 8, 12, 20, or 30 free spins respectively. In the feature, wild symbols randomly have values of x2, x3, or x5. These wilds increase the number of symbols they replace by an amount equal to the multiplier, boosting the number of ways winning combinations can be created. Landing 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 scatter symbols grants an extra 5, 8, 12, 20, or 30 free spins. Money Collect does not apply in this bonus.
Bullion Blitz Spins
If this feature is activated by 3, 4, 5, or 6 scatters, players receive 2, 3, 5, or 7 free spins respectively. Throughout the round, only Money, Collect, or blank symbols can land. At least 1 Collect symbol is guaranteed to land on every spin. This feature cannot be retriggered.
Feature Buy
Free spins may be purchased from the base game for 80x for a 3-scatter trigger, 120x for a 4-scatter trigger, 200x for a 5-scatter trigger, or 240x for a 6-scatter trigger. The feature buy RTP ranges from 96.49% to 96.59%.

Money Stacks: Slot Verdict
For what it offers, some players will absolutely find Money Stacks hard to ignore—and that’s fair. The issue is that it leans so heavily on familiar and/or borrowed elements that it never really feels enticing. These fixed jackpot prize slots, presented like bargain items in a 99c discount shop, can be dull enough on their own. Add in the well-worn Money symbol collection setup and it’s hard to get too excited. The jackpots are fine, but not especially standout. What really drags it down is how much of the non-theme design feels extremely close to what Mask of Amun (and by extension Blazing Bison Gold Blitz) delivered years ago—and quite possibly what other slots have also done since.
The biggest link is Bullion Blitz Spins—essentially the same idea as Gold Blitz spins in those other titles—and it’s easy to see why that could appeal to some. A notable hook is that every single spin includes a Collect symbol, and sometimes more than one. Of course, that doesn’t automatically translate into a huge payout each time, but it does mean at least one Collect symbol shows up on every spin without fail. It could be worse. As for the free spins with random multipliers route, it can award a large number of spins depending on the triggering and retriggering scatter counts, but it didn’t feel as immediately exciting as the Bullion Blitz option.
Since there’s no clear note on whether Money Stacks’ 5,000x win cap is unreachable in either bonus choice, it’s reasonable to assume both routes have the same potential to hit the maximum payout. That’s Money Stacks in a nutshell: a flashy, well-produced slot in Pragmatic Play’s usual style, but one that lacks originality and is unlikely to be remembered as more than a minor reference in the wider online slots catalog.
