Lamp of Infinity: Slot Overview
From what a web search suggests, under current US law, broadly speaking, new movies remain under copyright for 95 years before moving into the public domain (not legal advice btw). As of writing, that basically means works from roughly 1928 and earlier are up for grabs. One group that seemingly isn’t interested in waiting is Pragmatic Play partner studio Reel Kingdom. That’s because its Arabic-themed online slot Lamp of Infinity looks a little bit—alright, a lot—like Disney’s animated film Aladdin.
First released in 1992, Aladdin drew inspiration from the classic Arabic collection One Thousand and One Nights. You know the setup: genie, lamp, wishes, the whole deal. Lamp of Infinity never directly references Aladdin or the stories behind it, but after a quick glance, it’s difficult not to feel those Aladdin vibes. Is it uncomfortably close to the source? We’ll leave that to players to decide—or the courts, if Disney or whoever holds the rights to Aladdin decides it’s time to get the lawyers involved.

If your plan is to give Lamp of Infinity a whirl, stakes run from 20 p/c to $/€240 per spin, with an Ante Bet and bonus buy available if that’s more your style. The Ante Bet increases the stake by 50% in exchange for an extra chance of getting bonus symbols, while the buy free spins option is priced at 100x the bet. Maximum RTP depends on the mode: 96.07% in the default setup, 96.08% with the Ante Bet, and 96.04% when purchasing the bonus round. Volatility is high and the developers rate it 5 out of 5.
The game runs on a 5-reel, 3-row layout with only 5 paylines. At the low end you’ll find Q-A royals, then a sword, treasure chest, carpet, monkey, gemstone, and a palace-style icon. A 5 OAK hit returns 2x for the royals or 5 to 100x the bet for the other paying symbols. The blue genie acts as the wild, showing up on all reels and substituting for any standard pay symbol.
Lamp of Infinity: Slot Features

The base game offers pretty much nada when it comes to special features, so it’s straight on to the free spins round. This activates when at least 3 bonus symbols land, granting 8 free spins. In free spins, reels 3, 4, and 5 merge to create a 3×3-sized wild symbol that stays in place for the entire feature. On top of that, the wild receives a random multiplier of x2, x3, x4, x5, x6, x7, x8, x9, or x10, and this multiplier applies to every win during the round.
A tumble feature also kicks in during free spins. Once any winning lines have paid, the tumble feature removes the winning symbols and new ones fall from above to fill the gaps. The tumbling repeats until it no longer produces another winning line.
On top of that, once the free spins round finishes, there’s a chance it will randomly retrigger. If it does, you receive 8 more free spins, and a fresh multiplier is chosen from the same list of values mentioned above. Landing 4 or 5 bonus symbols in the base game guarantees 1 or 2 retriggers, respectively. Lastly, if the feature ends with a total win less than 18 times the bet, the round retriggers as well.

Lamp of Infinity: Slot Verdict
Playing Lamp of Infinity felt a bit like buying Aladdin on DVD and discovering you’d ended up with a bootleg—recorded in a cinema back in the 90s with 90s-grade gear. Or like some third party tried to cash in by copying the movie while taking every shortcut possible. Kind of like those bargain-bin plastic action figures that look fine from the front, then you turn them around and realize they’re basically hollow. Alright, that’s a little harsh, but that’s the underwhelming impression Lamp of Infinity gave when it appeared, did its thing for a while, and then fizzled out like a genie that’s already burned through its allotted wishes.
For starters, the base game feels like filler. With so few paylines, hardly any features, and a generally low level of buzz, there’s not much to keep things moving. A couple of symbols can pay reasonably well, but beyond those, it’s pretty meh. The bonus round also didn’t live up to the promise of a fixed win multiplier and a fixed 3-reel wild symbol. Once again, the limited paylines help keep Lamp of Infinity from getting too chaotic too often, so players shouldn’t expect to be pulling magic out of the lamp on every free spin. Lamp of Infinity does come with a win cap of 5,000x the bet, though, so if higher-tier premium symbols land in the right spots with a strong multiplier in play, it could definitely get exciting. Outside of that, there just isn’t a whole lot else going on here.
That wraps up the Lamp of Infinity review. It’s a bright, flashy-looking slot with some bold similarities to a classic Disney animated film. There are fun moments to be found in Lamp of Infinity if luck is on your side, but some players may struggle to push through the quieter stretches while dealing with the game’s overall knockoff vibe.
