Sure, we may have pushed back against the more experimental ideas in Xterminate, and now we’re grumbling that this one leans more “classic” (in comparison). Sorry, Thunderkick, if it feels like criticism either way, but taken as a whole, King of the Party doesn’t quite deliver the most outrageous night out.

That said, King of the Party can absolutely pop off, even if it doesn’t have the same sharp, instant-impact feel as something like Gates of Olympus, where huge multiplier symbols can drop in at any time. Still, having a climbing win multiplier available throughout the game is a definite plus—particularly since it can be boosted by Avalanche wins and Overlay Multipliers. The inclusion of wilds also helps, and they’re not a given in every scatter-paying slot. Free spins add the final layer with explosive wilds and, crucially, a win multiplier that doesn’t reset, making the bonus round arguably the best chance to reach the game’s 5,000x the bet maximum potential.
