Once gameplay takes over, though, Gears of Horus doesn’t always feel as entertaining as the theme suggests. The expanding grid mechanic works well enough and can open up a large play area with plenty of space for clusters to connect. The issue is that cluster payouts are relatively modest, and even with all that extra room, the best clusters only need 15+ symbols anyway.
