Flower Fortunes Supreme: Slot Overview
Back in 2019, Swedish developer Fantasma Games launched Flower Fortunes Megaways, marking the studio’s first outing with Big Time Gaming’s Megaways game engine. They approached it in such an unconventional way that, at first glance, you could easily miss that it was even a Megaways title. It wasn’t only the distinctive reel presentation, but also the collect-orbs-to-level-up-and-unlock-features mechanic, which delivered a fresh take on the Megaways formula. Those quirks may have made it harder to place initially, but given time, its appeal could open up like a sunflower in full bloom. With that level of imagination on display in Flower Fortunes Megaways, the idea of a supreme edition sounded genuinely intriguing – what would Fantasma bring to the table next? As with the original Flower Fortunes slot, the studio has filled Flower Fortunes Supreme with surprises, though they’re not necessarily the kind most fans were wishing for.

The first thing that raises questions is that the word ‘Megaways’ is nowhere to be found in the game, on the game sheet, or even in the paytable. Even so, Flower Fortunes Supreme’s grid still behaves broadly like the original, so interpret that as you like. Around the reels you’ll again see the natural valley setting with steep rock faces, dozing flowers, and grassy humps. Two noticeable differences are the new or adjusted collection metre features and a strangely tidy, almost too-polished soundtrack. Aside from that, at this stage, it largely feels like the usual routine.
However, Flower Fortunes Supreme’s stats paint a very different picture, as almost everything has been reduced. That includes an average RTP lowered to 95.88% (which can rise depending on the level achieved), volatility in the medium bracket, and a hit frequency decrease to 35.94%. Anyone hoping for uplifting news about the max win is likely to be let down, but we’ll hold off on that reveal for the moment.
At the starting level, the game uses 6-reels, each 5 positions high. By collecting orbs, the height can grow to 9 positions high at the most. The symbols resemble Cuisenaire rods and can land in three sizes – 1×1, 1×2, or 1×3. There are five unpatterned low-pay symbols, paying 1-1.5 times the stake for six of a kind, while the high pays are four patterned tiles worth 2.5-10x the bet for a six of a kind hit. Standard wilds always appear as 1×1 symbols on reels 2, 3, 4, or 5, substituting for all paying symbols.
Flower Fortunes Supreme: Slot Features

The core objective in Flower Fortunes Supreme is to collect orbs, which are tracked on the level bar beside the reels. The level bar begins at 0 steps. Each orb adds one step, while landing a leaf icon takes a step away. Advancing to higher levels increases the grid by adding rows and unlocks different features:
- Level 0 – 5 rows (RTP 95.32%).
- Level 1 – 6 rows, Respins are unlocked (RTP 95.56%).
- Level 2 – 7 rows, Respins and Expanding Wilds are unlocked (RTP 95.94%).
- Level 3 – 8 rows, Respins, Expanding Wilds, and Bonus are unlocked (RTP 96.15%).
- Level 4 – 9 rows, Respins, Expanding Wild, Bonus, and Both Ways are unlocked (RTP 96.41%).
Respins
Once available, this feature is triggered by landing a Respins symbol on reels 2-5. The Respins symbol then disappears along with 5-12 randomly chosen non-winning pay symbols. After that, new symbols drop in, creating fresh opportunities for wins.
Expanding Wild
From level 2 onwards, any wild symbols that land will expand to fill the entire reel and receive a random multiplier of x1 to x9. When multiple wilds contribute to a win, their multiplier values are multiplied together.
Bonus Game
Hitting 3 or more bonus symbols from level 3 and above starts the Bonus Game, which plays out after the spin ends – 5 flowers appear on the screen, and a random number of picks is granted. Each pick delivers a prize of 0.25x to 100x the bet.
Both Ways
Once you reach this level, wins can be formed with matching symbols connecting left to right, as well as right to left.

Flower Fortunes Supreme: Slot Verdict
Flower Fortunes Supreme is a rather baffling entry. As a follow-up – and especially as something labelled ‘supreme’ – it’s hard to see why players would choose it over the original. It isn’t a poorly built slot, but it simply offers far less than Flower Fortunes Megaways. Almost everywhere you look, settings feel dialled down, as though this were the earlier beta that should have arrived before Flower Fortunes Megaways. It’s also a little odd that you must level up to access the better RTP, although the starting RTP, to be fair, isn’t awful.
There’s still fun to be had in collecting orbs and unlocking extra mechanics, yet the voice that previously narrated the action is noticeably missing. The levelling concept remains a smart touch, and pairing larger reels with additional features can really ramp up the suspense. Still, Flower Fortunes Supreme can leave you with the sense that something is absent, and a major reason is the sharp reduction in potential. Here, the top prize is 5,000x the bet, which is under a third of the 18,480x stated for the Megaways version (and we’re still waiting to see evidence of that potential). Fantasma surely has its rationale, but it may struggle to convince many players that such a cut deserves the word ‘supreme’.
If we were to guess, it seems possible that downplaying Megaways played some role in why Flower Fortunes Supreme exists – though that could be completely off, of course. Whether you view it as a sideways move or a step back, Flower Fortunes Supreme doesn’t come across as progress. Considering the first game was such a strong leap forward for Fantasma, that’s disappointing. Unless Flower Fortunes Megaways is removed so there’s no alternative, there aren’t many compelling reasons to pick Flower Fortunes Supreme over the fuller, more substantial version that came before it.
