Flaming Tiki: Slot Overview
As if the Games Global line-up of studios wasn’t already huge, it’s gained another member under the slightly bold banner of High Limit Studio. Not “Nolimit” (we’ve already got one of those), but “High Limit” — and a name like that tends to come with expectations. If you’re curious what one of the newer (at the time of writing) additions to the Games Global roster can do, join us for a look at Flaming Tiki, an online slot featuring the Epic Strike mechanic alongside a free spins round with a win multiplier.
Without wanting to sound harsh straight away, there wasn’t a great deal about Flaming Tiki that screamed “high limit” when it first appeared. It’s perfectly serviceable, with a bamboo-tied reel set sitting on a beach at dusk (or dawn), framed by four flaming posts beside a tiki mask, palm trees, and a pink-and-purple pastel sky. It’s one of those times where we have to say it again: the game gives off a strong 9 Masks of Fire vibe. That influence is everywhere — from the mask theme to the prize ladder, and even the inclusion of familiar, classic slot symbols. Up to this point, it feels more mid-limit than high-limit.

Flaming Tiki runs on mobile, desktop, and tablet, with stakes ranging from 20 p/c to $/€120 per spin. From a maths perspective, Flaming Tiki is a low volatile slot and comes with three potential RTP settings, with 96.24% as the top value. Action plays out on a 5-reel, 3-row layout, and wins are calculated across 20 fixed paylines.
Looking at the symbols, Flaming Tikis includes 7 standard pay icons, split into four low pays and three high pays. The low symbols are the card suits — diamonds, clubs, hearts, and spades — while the higher symbols are single 7s, double 7s, and triple 7s. A five-of-a-kind low symbol win pays 1-3.25 times the bet, while five 7 symbols return from 3.25x (for any combination) up to 37.5x the stake. The ‘W’ symbol acts as a wild and can land on all five reels. Wilds substitute for any regular paying symbol and can also create wins of up to 125 times the bet for a five-wild payline.
Flaming Tiki: Slot Features

Keep an eye out for the Tiki symbol, since it’s the key to winning cash rewards from the ladder. If 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9 Tiki symbols are visible on the reels, players collect a payout of 1x, 5x, 15x, 40x, 100x, 500x, or 2,000x the bet, respectively. This feature can land in either the base game or during free spins.
Free Spins
Hitting 3 Free Spins symbols awards a spin of the Free Spins Wheel, along with a payout equal to 1 times the bet. Free Spins symbols can appear on reels 2, 3, and 4. The Free Spins Wheel decides both the number of free spins granted and the win multiplier. That multiplier boosts all wins in the free spins round, except for Tiki Symbol wins. If the feature is retriggered, the same number of free spins that were initially awarded is granted again.

Flaming Tiki: Slot Verdict
After the test session, Flaming Tiki came across as fine — decent enough, not terrible — but it didn’t really do much to raise the heart rate, tighten the grip, or create a strong urge to jump back in for another go. It plays like an early effort from a developing slot studio that hadn’t fully found its identity, its rhythm, or the confidence to push beyond expectations with something genuinely standout. It also doesn’t bring much that’s new, since it mirrors Gameburger Studios’ 9 Masks of Fire extremely closely; honestly, it’s basically a clone. That’s understandable given how popular 9 Masks became and how many developers have tried to ride that wave. Still, Flaming Tikis sticks so tightly to the template that it feels like High Limit Studio didn’t want to risk changing anything at all.
Because it’s so similar, there isn’t much about Flaming Tikis’ gameplay that hasn’t already been covered elsewhere. One thing that stood out — and it may simply have been down to a cold streak — was that the scatter/instant prize mechanic didn’t appear to land particularly often. Just a note, much like how Flaming Tiki’s max win of 2,000x may not sound huge, though it matches the ceiling of the title that inspired it, so, fair enough.
It’s a bit like a rising actor who hasn’t broken through yet and ends up taking whatever paid work comes along — like Joey from Friends doing the STD commercial — and you can almost excuse it. But the High Limit Studio name sets the bar high, and Flaming Tiki doesn’t really clear it. It could work as an alternative for players who want something in the 9 Masks of Fire mould but are feeling Fire-d out. Otherwise, it comes across as a little undercooked to leave much of an impression. Then again, certain parts of the market seem to love games like this, so perhaps Flaming Tiki will still find a strong audience.
