Connect & Collect symbols may land on non-special positions across reels 1-5. During the feature, a Buffalo Coin can appear, granting random multipliers to random positions, which then boost their values. Once respins are exhausted, every value shown is totalled and paid out. Each Buffalo Coin awards a bet multiple, further increased by any multiplier it receives. If the screen becomes filled with symbols, the Grand prize is awarded. Mystery symbols stay in place until the round ends, at which point they reveal a cash prize that may even be the Minor, Major, or Grand prize.

Fire Stampede Ultimate: Slot Verdict

Whether it truly earns the “ultimate” label is up for debate, but Fire Stampede Ultimate is clearly the largest of the trilogy so far in a few respects. It’s also a bit tricky to gauge just how big it is, because the paytable details repeatedly refer to the Grand prize as being worth 80,000x the base bet. To make sense of it, it appears some prize values shown in the paytable must be divided by 30 to get the multiple of the total bet. Using that approach, the Grand prize works out to roughly 2,667x the total bet. Elsewhere, the stated win cap is 12,500x, which feels like a more realistic target for players. The main question, of course, is whether Fire Stampede Ultimate does enough to stand out. It probably will if the first two games already appealed to you, or if you’re into bright, buffalo-led, jackpot-style slots.

This entry does push the Respins concept further. In the Ultimate version, Buffalo Coins can land—visually not the most thrilling addition—while Mystery symbols can still flip into the named prizes. Cash Respins are a smart variation, since Connect & Collect symbols don’t just unlock rewards when chains hit special positions; they also carry prize values themselves. That’s a nice one-two punch. If players have enjoyed what the series has offered so far, there’s a strong chance this will land well too.

Overall, Fire Stampede Ultimate is a decent slot, and it deserves credit for being the biggest and most feature-heavy of the three to date. The Connect & Collect mechanic is fairly distinctive and not something that shows up in loads of games, giving Fire Stampede Ultimate a bit of its own identity. Fans of the previous two Fire Stampede releases will likely be happy to jump into the third instalment, while everyone else gets a feature set that feels different enough to decide whether it’s their thing.
