But because most of the core ideas were already used in Firebird Spirit and return here with minimal changes, the sense of freshness drops sharply—made worse by the theme choice. Sure, the buffalo is on fire, and flames are a popular slot motif, but it’s still another bison game. If the Pragmatic Play and Wild Streak Gaming partnership had delivered something less familiar on the front end, the feature set might have felt less recycled too.

One positive is the inclusion of special symbols in the top and bottom positions of reel 3, which is where Connect & Collect symbols frequently ended up meeting. The respins feature is also a worthwhile addition, as it gives you another opportunity to link sticky Connect & Collects to special symbols on the far-right reel.
