For what it’s aiming for, Red Tiger has put together a cheerful, feel-good farm—the kind where the animals seemingly aren’t destined for the butcher or the dairy. If that’s the case, then hopefully Farmtastic’s farmer makes a killing selling sunflower seeds.

Whenever 5 or more identical symbols land next to each other on the 6×6 grid—horizontally or vertically—they create a winning cluster. Those clustered symbols then burst off the grid, letting the remaining symbols drop down while fresh ones fall in from above. These chain reactions continue until no further cluster win is formed. The game uses a medium-high volatile math model, offering modest win potential and a maximum RTP of 95.76%. Bets range from 10 c to $/€100 per spin.

Farmtastic: Slot Verdict

It’s easy to see why the animals on this farm might look pleased to be there—or at least calmly vacant, staring into the distance and perhaps imagining a life beyond the fence. Do domesticated animals even crave freedom, or are they simply unaware of the bigger picture? If they’re well fed and treated decently, maybe they’re fine milling about a field or snorting in a pen. Who knows. Either way, Farmtastic is a bright, upbeat place to grow crops and raise livestock—but does it make for a worthwhile punt? In one sense, yes: if you’re after a light farm-themed cluster pays slot with limited win potential and a bonus round that peppers the reels with wild symbols, it fits the bill.

That said, a max multiplier of 2,920x takes the edge off the excitement, which is unfortunate given the enjoyable parts of Farmtastic’s design. Big wilds in a cluster pays setup are definitely a welcome addition, and the free spins round carries a faint—very faint—Fat Rabbit flavour. Farmtastic doesn’t have sticky wilds, of course, but there is a sort of progressive angle to the wild symbols, and you can end up with larger wilds when the farmer randomly appears and tosses them in. There’s also a multiplier, though it’s restrained, and after a while Farmtastic can feel a little too tightly limited.

Even so, Farmtastic was fairly entertaining to review despite the drawbacks. The vibe is airy and pleasant, the way the camera zooms in and out of the sheep during the bonus round is mildly amusing (at least at first), and there are plenty of features to tick through—even if most of them ultimately come back to wild symbols in different sizes. It’s a decent pick if huge payouts aren’t essential, and if you’re in the mood for a countryside gamble, Farmtastic does a reasonable job of scratching that itch.
