Dragon’s Mirror: Slot Overview
Following titles such as Dragon’s Fire, Dragon’s Fire Megaways, Mega Dragon, Dragon’s Luck Deluxe, Dragon’s Luck Megaways, and now Dragon’s Mirror, it’s fair to assume Red Tiger has a real fondness for the scaly, flame-breathing legends. The reason is anyone’s guess, but dragons certainly deliver strong visuals and broad, cross-cultural appeal. Dragon’s Mirror caters to dragon fans as well, since it doesn’t focus on just one kind of creature. Instead, it follows dragons from egg to adulthood, built around a Dragon Progress feature, five different wild symbols (some with win multipliers, one with a mirroring ability), plus a free spins round.
With plenty of dragon-themed experience already, Red Tiger proves it can put together an attractive-looking slot. Dragon’s Mirror is set in a fantasy realm of floating towers perched on rocks above a forested valley, with mountains and cloud cover stretching across the background. The vibe is a blend of Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, and Avatar, so fantasy lovers may find it tempting. It’s also a slot that can improve as more features are unlocked, so ideally the dragon residents will drop their egg wilds onto the reels often.

As for the reels, Dragon’s Mirror uses 5 reels with 3 rows and 25 fixed paylines. Wins are paid left to right, starting from the leftmost reel, using adjacent reels. Under the dragon scales sits a highly volatile math model, with an RTP of 96%. There are no bonus buys or additional bet modifiers, so the only choice is your stake, ranging from 10 p/c to $/€10 per spin.
The paytable includes 10 standard paying symbols. On the low end are 10 to A card ranks, paying 3.2 to 4 times the bet for a 5-of-a-kind line, while the higher symbols are a scroll, a book, a ring, a farmer, and a wizard, returning 6 to 16 times the bet for a 5 OAK win. The regular wilds are Dragon Egg Wilds, and they can appear on all reels. Dragon Egg Wilds substitute for any pay symbols and can pay up to 40x when forming wild wins.
Dragon’s Mirror: Slot Features

Dragon’s Mirror is one of those Red Tiger slots that evolves as specific symbols land and are collected—here, that means wilds. Alongside the Dragon Progress feature, the game includes 5 wild types and a free spins bonus round.
Dragon Progress
The bar above the reels shows the players’ progress through 4 levels. Hitting certain Dragon Wilds at each stage fills the progress bar, and finishing a level adds a new type of Dragon Wild to the reels:
- Level 1 – landing 60 Dragon Egg Wilds completes this level. Baby Dragon Wilds are added when complete.
- Level 2 – landing 18 Baby Dragon Wilds completes this level. Young Dragon Wilds are added when complete.
- Level 3 – landing 10 Young Dragon Wilds completes this level. Dragon Queen Wilds are added when complete.
- Level 4 – landing 2 Dragon Queen Wilds completes this level. Dragon King Wilds are added when complete.
Dragon Wilds
Every wild type substitutes for all paying symbols, making it easier to complete winning lines. Baby Dragon and Dragon Queen Wilds come with multipliers that apply to any win they help create. If a single win includes more than one multiplier, the values are multiplied together.
- Baby Dragon – these wilds land on reels 2 and 4 with an x3 win multiplier.
- Young Dragon – expanding wilds that expand over the whole reel if they can form part of a win by doing so. Young Dragons appear on reels 2, 3, and 4.
- Dragon Queen – an expanding wild symbol with an x3 win multiplier. It appears on the middle reel only and expands to cover the whole reel if, by doing so, it will be part of a win.
- Dragon King – this is an expanding wild that lands on the middle reel only. It covers the whole reels, and it copies the symbols from reel 1 to reel 5, and the symbols from reel 2 are copied to reel 4.
Free Spins
Hitting 3, 4 or 5 scatter symbols anywhere in a single spin awards 5, 8, or 12 free spins, respectively. Only 1 scatter can appear on each reel. In the free spins round, scatters cannot land on the middle reel. All Dragon Wilds are present in free spins at all progress levels. On top of that, either Young Dragon, Dragon Queen, or Dragon King will land on the middle reel on each free spin.

Dragon’s Mirror: Slot Verdict
Dragon’s Mirror has its appealing points, though it’s debatable whether it ranks among Red Tiger’s strongest dragon releases. The studio often builds slots around collecting specific items to unlock higher-level features. Pairing that familiar mechanic with a dragon theme likely made for a happy design team at Red Tiger HQ. Players who enjoy this kind of progression challenge—along with mythical creatures—may feel the same. After spending time with it, however, it’s difficult to picture more general players, especially those less keen on unlock requirements or the theme, being fully captivated by Dragon’s Mirror. That said, the range of wild symbols and their different effects could still be a strong hook.
A major possible annoyance is that not everything is available from the outset. Instead, you need to work your way up to the best parts, or simply keep spinning until they arrive. It also didn’t take an absurd amount of time to reach the Dragon King, though that wild can be a mixed blessing. It’s underwhelming when the symbols on reels 1 and 2 don’t connect well after being copied, but it can be exciting when they mirror into something worthwhile—like landing a multiplier wild on reel 2, for instance. Still, after pushing through the progression, triggering free spins bonus rounds, there wasn’t a strong urge to continue playing just to see more dragons for a while.
One element that could (or might not) keep players interested in Dragon’s Mirror is its maximum win potential of 3,873x the bet. To wrap up, there will likely be punters who relish meeting Dragon’s Mirror’s cast and taking on its progressive challenge, but beyond that seemingly narrow audience, the game may find it harder to win over a broader crowd.
