Demon Pots: Slot Overview
For a spell, Pragmatic Play’s compadres Reel Kingdom were sending some of the strangest slots across the review desk. Titles such as Star Pirate Code, Cash Elevator, and Tic Tac Take come to mind, and while they weren’t quite on the same psychedelic level as a Crazy Tooth Studios brain-twister, they were undeniably weird. Then, after striking gold with Big Bass Bonanza, the studio rolled out a wave of fishing-themed games that shook up the online gambling landscape. Showing the team can still deliver an offbeat concept, Demon Pots arrives with the vibe of a throwback to those earlier “what on earth is this?” days.
With a title like Demon Pots and flames licking around the screen, it’s easy to assume players are somewhere deep underground in a toasty corner of the underworld. Wherever the setting is, the locals seem to enjoy ska, as a track in the style of The Specials pumps through the speakers. There’s only one resident to meet: a red-skinned, horned, demon-like fellow featured on the wild symbol. Rather than being purely mischievous, he’s genuinely handy—subbing for pay symbols and helping to set off certain features as well. The audiovisual package is very much classic Reel Kingdom: a bit cheesy, a bit low-rent, and undeniably odd, though not always in a flattering way. Put kindly, Demon Pots is one for players with a taste for the unusual.

Smouldering under the hood is a highly volatile (4.5 out of 5) math model delivering an RTP of 96.01% when playing ‘normally’ or when buying free spins, nudging up slightly to 96.02% when using the Ante Bet. When enabled, the Ante Bet increases the base bet by 50%, boosting the chance of activating various bonus modes. Standard stakes range from 40 p/c per spin all the way up to $/€240.
Demon Pots plays out on a 5×3 grid with 40 paylines, where wins come from landing 3 to 5 of a kind. At the low end are 10 to A card royals, paying 1 times the bet for a 5 low pay symbol win, followed by horseshoes, a trident, bundles of cash, a sack of cash, and some gold stuff, worth 1.6 to 10 times the bet for a 5 OAK hit. As mentioned, the demon character appears on the wild, which substitutes for every symbol except Coin symbols. In the base game, wilds are restricted to the single centre position of the grid.
Demon Pots: Slot Features

On to the features: Coins, Win Spins, free spins, and buy free spins. It sounds straightforward at first glance, but there are plenty of conditions and details to keep track of.
Coins
Coin symbols appear carrying values of 0.2 to 2 times the total bet. Any time a wild symbol lands together with Coin symbols, the Coin values are paid out. Whenever a wild hits, after the spin it can hurl fireballs at the pots above the reels, occasionally activating one or more of them. If the Coins pot is triggered, 6 Coin symbols with values of 0.2 to 1x the bet are added to the reels and collected. If the Super Coins pot triggers, 6 coins with values of 0.4 to 2x the bet are added to the reels and collected.
Win Spins
Triggering the Win Spins pot awards 6 respins. Throughout the feature, the wild symbol stays locked in the centre of the grid. Every respin is guaranteed to produce a win, coming randomly from winning combinations, collections, Coins, or Super Coins. If the Win Spins pot is activated again during the feature, players receive an additional 6 respins.
Free Spins
When the Free Spins pot activates, 6 free spins are granted – and once again, the wild remains in the centre of the grid throughout. During free spins, any pot can be triggered at random. In this mode, a fully stacked wild can land on reel 5 or on reels 4 and 5. If a stacked wild lands on reel 5, another may later appear on reel 4. Fully stacked wilds are sticky until the feature ends. With a fully stacked wild on reel 5, all Coin value collections are multiplied by x3. With fully stacked wilds on reels 4 and 5, all Coin value collections are multiplied by x6. If Win Spins are triggered during free spins, any sticky wilds are removed for that sequence, though the multipliers still apply to Coin collections. Once free spins resume, the fully stacked wilds are placed back onto the reels. Activating the Free Spins pot again during the feature awards an extra 6 free spins.
Buy Free Spins
Players can purchase the free spins feature for 100x the bet. When bought, the Win Spins pot triggers first, and once those finish, the Free Spins pot is activated.

Demon Pots: Slot Verdict
It’s rarely a positive sign when reviewing a slot and the idea of a bonus retrigger makes you wince at the prospect of enduring more of it. That was the case with Demon Pots, which is certainly a peculiar game. Whether that’s the good kind of peculiar or the bad kind is down to personal taste, but it didn’t do much to inspire a return visit here. It’s somewhat like Pragmatic Play’s slot Hellvis Wild if all the slick polish had been drained away. Demon Pots definitely has its own identity, but being different for the sake of it doesn’t guarantee players will want to come along for the ride.
That said, Demon Pots does offer gameplay that feels fairly distinctive, in its own way, and there are elements some players may appreciate. The bonus buy, for example, feels—without claiming it actually is—like reasonable value, since you get 6 Win Spins as a lead-in before the free spins kick off. Win Spins don’t automatically mean big payouts, though, and as with any online slot, not every bonus purchase will end up profitable. The Coin values, in particular, are miserly on their own, topping out at 2x the bet, which doesn’t exactly scream “super” for Super Coins. Still, Coins can drop in decent numbers, and it is technically possible to boost Coin collections when sticky full-stacked wilds are in play.
The win potential is also respectable at 6,000x the bet, though it’s difficult to picture that ceiling being seriously tested with what Demon Pots brings to the table. Happy to be proven wrong, of course. Ultimately, while it was oddly comforting to see Reel Kingdom leaning back into its weirder side, it wasn’t the right kind of weird, and the idea of firing it up again didn’t feel particularly tempting.
