Getting 6 or more Bingo scatters activates the Bingo Bonus. Before the round starts, all Bingo symbols displayed transform into Coin symbols carrying a random value of 0.25x to 1,000x the bet. The bonus plays out on a 5×5 grid, which can land Coins, Super Coins, or blanks. At the beginning of the round, the value of every Coin on the grid is collected into the middle position. The middle position does not spin. Super Coins are special symbols featuring the 20x Mini, 40x Minor, 100x Major, 500x Mega, x2, or x3 multiplier. These values stay locked until they become part of a line.

You start with 3 respins. After each respin, any Coins and Super Coins that land remain on the reels, and hitting at least 1 Coin of either type resets the respin counter. When a vertical, horizontal, or diagonal line is completed, the combined value of all Coins in that line is added together at the centre position of the relevant line, and this central Coin stays on the grid. If full lines include one or more multipliers, the multipliers are applied to each value on the line before they are collected into the central Coin. If 10 lines are formed within a single bonus round, the Grand prize is 10,000x the bet. When the respins finish, all unlocked symbol values remaining on the grid are totalled and paid out.

Bingo Mania is an energetic title that brings a slice of bingo excitement into a slot format. It both steps away from traditional bingo play and, at the same time, holds onto key ideas. Line-making, for example, is central to bingo, and it’s also essential for creating wins during the Bingo Bonus. With its jazzy shine, anyone who enjoys both gambling and bingo should find it worth trying. Just note that it isn’t as purely bingo-driven as Immortal Romance Video Bingo, for instance, though the overlaps are clear.

On the downside—and not to be overly harsh—the free spins round can feel a little unnecessary. It does include Mystery symbols, which can be fun when they flip into wilds or Bingo symbols, and they can even set off the Bingo Bonus. Still, if free spins weren’t here, it likely wouldn’t be a major loss. That said, Mystery symbols can open the door to the Bingo Bonus, where the line-building action really begins. To Pragmatic Play’s credit, Bingo Mania isn’t limited to simply dropping Coins into lines. Instead, completed lines merge into central positions, freeing up room for more Coins to land, while jackpot prizes and multipliers can appear to add variety—along with strong upside for a bingo slot at 10,000x the bet.

After running through several Bingo Bonus rounds and understanding the flow, Bingo Mania did begin to lose some of its pull. In the end, while it’s not a perfect slot-and-bingo blend, the big win cap, the hold ‘n’ win twist, and the upbeat presentation make it a solid pick for fans of both styles.
