Big Bass Reel Repeat: Slot Overview
Pragmatic Play and partner Reel Kingdom return with another entry in the Big Bass lineup. After exploring plenty of familiar twists across the series (you get the idea), this time the fishing pair leans into a reality-bending angle: time travel. That’s where the “repeat” in Big Bass Reel Repeat comes from—a sci-fi-tinged take that hints at how the bonus round can, in certain situations, be restarted at random, letting you stack up more fish and more cash.
Across both the base game and the bonus, the sci-fi theme shows up in subtle ways. Money symbols carry a futuristic design, there’s a ray gun among the icons, and the Fisherman has the look of an ’80s timeline-hopping rogue, though much of the scenery is classic Big Bass. You still get the plants, bubbles, background fish—everything you’d expect. Even so, the synthwave audio and the transition animations between the base game and free spins push a retro-future feel, giving the game a sci-fi edge that isn’t typical of other Big Bass slots.

Big Bass Reel Repeat is played on a bubble-framed 5-reel grid. The reels display 3 rows of symbols, and wins are paid via 10 paylines running left to right starting from the leftmost reel. With three feature buys and an ante bet available, the RTP remains unchanged at 96.51% in every case, and the stake range is 10c to $/€250 per spin, backed by a highly volatile math model. If you use the ante bet, you can choose between three options: 1.5x the bet to boost the chance of landing the feature, 1.6x for a chance to trigger the Repeat, or 2.5x to increase the chance of both the feature and Repeat.
The symbol set in Big Bass Reel Repeat includes 10-A card ranks, fish (these act as the Money symbols), boxes, ray guns, dragonflies, and boats. Five matching royals pay 5-10 times the bet, while the other symbols return 20x to 200x for a 5 OAK hit. Fisherman wilds substitute for all paying symbols to help complete wins, but they are only found in the bonus round.
Big Bass Reel Repeat: Slot Features

Landing 3, 4, or 5 scatters in the base game awards 10, 15, or 20 free spins, in that order. If 2 scatters appear in the base game, a third can be added either via a respin or it may randomly appear after the original result. Before the free spins round begins, players pick a card that can reveal a modifier:
- More Fish! – more Money symbols are present on the reel strips with a higher chance of bigger value in the round.
- Higher Multipliers! – the multipliers awarded at retrigger points have increased values of x4, x6, or x20.
- 3 Fisherman to Retrigger – only 3 Fisherman symbols instead of 4 need to be collected to retrigger free spins. Also, when multipliers are awarded they apply from the next spin instead of from the next batch of retriggered free spins.
- MEGA – all previous three modifiers are revealed.
In free spins, each Fisherman wild collects the prizes shown on Money symbols on the reels, with values ranging from 2x to 5,000x each. Fish symbols may also randomly land during free spins as oversized 2×2 or 3×3 symbols. Fisherman symbols are also collected, and every 4 Fisherman symbols gathered retrigger the feature, awarding +10 free spins plus a multiplier upgrade. The second, third, and fourth levels increase the multiplier to x2, x3, or x10, respectively.
Additionally, while free spins are active, if Fisherman wilds are present but there are no Money symbols, Money symbols may randomly appear on the reels. If Money symbols are showing but there is no Fisherman, a hook can pull a Fisherman into view, or if Fisherman wild symbols are present but there are no Money symbols, a Bass-ooka! sequence can trigger to change all symbols on the screen—excluding Fisherman symbols—into different ones.
Feature Buy
Players can purchase free spins for 100x the bet. Paying 160x the bet buys free spins where a Repeat feature can randomly restart the round once it finishes, while keeping the current accumulated win. Finally, 1,250x the bet buys free spins with the MEGA modifier guaranteed.

Big Bass Reel Repeat: Slot Verdict
So yes—another Big Bass title added to the pile. The total count is getting up there, but Big Bass Reel Repeat at least tries to separate itself from the pack. It’s the most clearly sci-fi-leaning installment so far, and the ’80s future aesthetic works well. Reel Kingdom uses the wireframe/retrosynth styling effectively, and the in-between cut scenes are a nice touch. Even with that, it still unmistakably looks like a Big Bass slot, which is likely important for bringing long-time fans back again.
Feature-wise, Big Bass Reel Repeat shares DNA with games like Big Bass Splash and Bigger Bass Splash, where you can receive modifiers before free spins kick off. The key change here is that you only get a single pick, and the overall range is narrower. If you turn over the MEGA card, all three modifiers activate at once, which clearly has value given the 1,250x cost to buy it outright. Overall, Big Bass Reel Repeat feels heavily geared toward bonus/ante options—not just because of the pricey MEGA purchase, but because the 160x buy and specific ante bets are the only ways to access the Repeat feature at all, which is a little strange considering the game is named after it.
Another curious point is that the MEGA buy includes all three modifiers, yet in Bigger Bass Splash you can buy all five modifiers for 350x, and both it and Big Bass Splash share the same win cap as Big Bass Reel Repeat at 5,000x the bet. On top of that, the max win frequency in both Splash games is better than the probability figure tied to Big Bass Reel Repeat. Sorry if that gets a bit number-heavy, but when a series runs this long, you end up looking closely for reasons to choose one entry over another. With Big Bass Reel Repeat, while the theme is entertaining enough, it’s tough to find many strong arguments for picking it over several of its siblings.
