Wild Wild Bison: Slot Overview
Here’s a stat to chew on. An article from Our World in Data notes that, by biomass, wild mammals make up only 4% of all mammals. The remainder is 62% livestock (like pigs and cattle) and 34% humans. We’re newcomers in the bigger timeline, yet we’ve already reshaped Earth’s living systems in a huge way. Not sure where to go with that except: here’s Wild Wild Bison from developer Stakelogic—a slot so “wild” they said it twice. It’s also, more or less, a copy of Wild Wild Bass 2, which itself shared plenty in common with Pragmatic Play’s Wild Wild Riches. So yes, the slot cycle keeps spinning.
When you load up a bison slot, chances are you’re heading into a North American setting, and that’s exactly the vibe in Wild Wild Bison. The scenery is attractive: sun-baked yellow plains, gently moving trees, and big mountains in the distance. A handful of bison hang around, “wild” in the free-roaming sense rather than the furious one. It’s a bison-themed slot, so there isn’t loads to dissect visually—still, it’s all agreeable enough.

On the gameplay front, Wild Wild Bison runs on a 6-reel layout where the reels show 3-3-4-4-4-4 symbols—until the Wild Rush feature kicks in and expands this to 3-3-5-5-5-5. Before any of that, you’ll want to choose a stake, with bets ranging from 10 c to $/€50. There’s no Super Stake ante bet in Wild Wild Bison, though there are two feature buys available. However you approach it, the default RTP sits at 96.07%, and volatility high.
With the smaller grid, you get 2,304 ways to win, which grows to 5,625 once the extra symbol positions appear during Wild Rush. Payouts are awarded left to right starting from reel 1, and wins can land as 3 to 6-of-a-kind. A 6-of-a-kind using the 9 to A card ranks returns 1 to 2 times the bet, while 6 eagles, wolves, cougars, black bears, or brown bears pays 2.5 to 15 times the bet. The wild symbol features our bison pal and can land on reels 1 and 2. As usual, wilds primarily act as substitutes for any paying symbol.
Wild Wild Bison: Slot Features

Wild symbols also play a key role in activating the Wild Rush feature, which charges in alongside Bison Coins, the Gold Rush feature, mystery symbols, and bonus buys.
Wild Rush
Wild Rush starts when wild symbols on both reels 1 and 2 land. Once triggered, reels 3, 4, 5, and 6 gain an extra position. Bison Coins can then appear on reels 3 to 6, each showing a random money value as a multiplier of the bet. Any Bison Coins that land during Wild Rush pay out their displayed values. If a Gold Rush symbol lands on reel 6 while Wild Rush is active, then Gold Rush is triggered.
Gold Rush
Gold Rush symbols are exclusive to reel 6, and hitting one while also landing 2 wild symbols activates the Gold Rush feature. You then receive 2, 3, or 5 Gold Rush spins. During Gold Rush spins, reels 1 and 2 merge into a single multiplier reel. Each spin, the multiplier displays a value between x1 and x10. Meanwhile, reels 3, 4, 5, and 6 transform into 20 independent reels, which can land only Bison Coins, Gold Rush symbols, mystery symbols, or blanks. On every Gold Rush spin, any Bison Coins collected are paid out and then multiplied by the displayed multiplier. The grid resets at the beginning of each spin. Landing Gold Rush symbols awards extra Gold Rush spins.
Mystery Symbols
Mystery symbols can land anywhere during Gold Rush spins, and they reveal a random multiplier value of x2, x3, x4, or x5 that multiplies any Bison Coins currently on the screen.
Bonus Buy
Using the bonus buy, players can purchase the Wild Rush feature for 50 times the bet, or step up and buy Gold Rush for 100 times the bet.

Wild Wild Bison: Slot Verdict
It’s difficult to describe Wild Wild Bison as a slot packed with unexpected twists. If anything, the biggest surprise is how quickly it arrived after Wild Wild Bass 2, the title it borrows its framework from. That’s great news if you can’t get enough of cash-symbol collection gameplay, though for everyone else it can feel about as thrilling as watching the elevator indicator creep toward your floor. Still, to give it its due, Wild Wild Bison delivered a smooth, pleasant—if not especially memorable—session. It just landed so soon after the game it’s based on, which itself looked a lot like Wild Wild Riches, as noted earlier.
To be fair, Stakelogic’s two Wild Wild entries are larger and, arguably, a bit more adventurous in places. The 10,000x max win is respectable, and the grid offers far more ways to connect. Wild Rush can feel a little hit-or-miss and was the less tempting of the two bonus buys. On the other hand, the Gold Rush feature is likely to be the main draw for dedicated cash-collector fans. The way the symbols clear each spin is a nice touch, and having a constant multiplier (even if it sometimes sits at x1) throughout the feature is useful too. It’s a tidy variation on the theme—if only Wild Wild Bison didn’t feel like déjà vu.
Sure, we’re probably as into fish-themed collector slots as the next person, maybe, but it’s refreshing when the collecting is handled by a different creature for once. Then again, both fish and bison have arguably been done to death in online slots. What can you do? Studios like buffalo, and plenty of players seem to as well, so if you’re after a fairly unoriginal but still enjoyable bison-flavoured cash-collect slot, Wild Wild Bison could be the one that fits.
