Queen Bee

The Queen Bee can appear in any Hive feature or feature combination. When she does, 1 to 4 Sticky Wild symbols are added onto the reels. The Queen Bee functions as a regular Sticky Wild. In the Jackpot Hive feature, the Queen Bee doesn’t provide Tokens, though the Sticky Wilds she adds will.

Wild Swarm Triple Hive: Slot Verdict

At first, it seemed like Wild Swarm Triple Hive might pack a bigger punch than it ultimately did. After two cosy, polished releases, expectations may have been set a touch too high. Still, it’s not all doom and gloom; there’s plenty to like here. As with the earlier Wild Swarm slots, Wild Swarm Triple Hive is attractively produced and easy to warm to, and the idea of gearing up for a third instalment was genuinely appealing. A quick look at the paytable showed a hefty feature list, and the win potential is huge at 23,902x the bet – more than double its predecessor, so the stage was ready to buzz with bees again and, ideally, gather fistfuls of sticky golden honey.

Before long, Wild Swarm Triple Hive started to feel like a title from the Games Global family of studios. That isn’t meant as a knock; it simply came across as a bit familiar. There are smart links back to the first two games, such as Sticky Wilds and Chest prizes, which is a nice touch, but collecting bees in Hives/pots to unlock free spins, and collecting Tokens to set off Jackpots, didn’t deliver a huge wow factor. Even so, the massive max win number and the bright, charming, busy bee world should be enough to pull players and their bankrolls in.

And if the 3 Pots Mechanic has served Push Gaming well before, there’s little reason it can’t do the same again in Wild Swarm Triple Hive. The production values are strong as ever, the charm is intact, and the feature set feels broad enough that it shouldn’t need to work like an exhausted bumble bee to bring players on board.
