It’s difficult to know what conclusion to draw from that.

The problem wasn’t the range, but how underpowered the bonus outcomes could feel, with small wins showing up often. With only three spins, there simply isn’t much time, and features frequently petered out before they could build into anything worthwhile. Adding to the oddness, Wild North Radiant Skies has reduced the win potential to 2,000x the bet. That’s low in general terms, yet after seeing what the bonus features could — or couldn’t — produce, it somehow felt huge.

Calling this a GO Collect game implies an extra layer or a contemporary upgrade, and while yes, tokens are collected, what you actually get is essentially a lightly updated Wild North with familiar mechanics wearing a new badge. The GO Collect angle in Book of Dead GO Collect wasn’t exactly the most thrilling idea to come out of the Play’n GO workshop, and in Wild North Radiant Skies it’s the second time it comes across as closer to unnecessary than exciting.
