West Coast Cash Infinity Reels: Slot Overview

Picture this: back before the PlayStation era, a couple of gamers are chatting about how brilliant it would be to have a game where you can roam a city and do whatever you like. A few years later, the Grand Theft Auto series delivered exactly that kind of freedom. The concept has been massively successful, pulling in billions, and it’s even been claimed GTA 5 makes $15,000 every ten minutes. With numbers like that, it’s no shock that other creators have wanted a taste of the same energy.

That’s where West Coast Cash Infinity Reels by developer ReelPlay comes in. It isn’t a GTA clone, but there’s enough overlap in vibe to make the comparison understandable. This is a gangster, rappin’, pimpin’, hustlin’, do-what-you-gotta-do-for-cash kind of ride. The action unfolds on a palm-lined, cracked West Coast street in the USA, and the first place that springs to mind is South Central LA—maybe Compton—made iconic by rap groups like N.W.A. Either way, it’s far removed from tourist traps, shopping districts, and moneyed enclaves like Beverly Hills. ReelPlay has nailed the visuals, and the soundtrack is pretty, um, “dope” too, giving the whole scene a strong, attitude-heavy personality.

Front and centre in the street sits the active grid, which begins each base game spin with 3 reels showing 4 symbols apiece. Players choose a stake of 20 p/c to $/€25 per spin and press play to get the reels rolling. A win lands when at least five matching symbols connect, starting from the leftmost reel. If the rightmost reel contains winning symbols, then another reel is added on the right. Reels keep extending as long as the rightmost reel increases the win—there’s no cap. Once the win stops improving, the payout is awarded and the reels reset for the next spin. Expect a highly volatile experience, with a return to player of 96.16%.

On top of that, whenever a new reel is added, the symbol multiplier increases by +1 each time. This symbol multiplier boosts the value of a symbol win at the end of the spin. The symbol set in West Coast Cash Infinity Reels features 9-A card royals plus four character icons: a Hustler, Pimp, Dealer, and Enforcer. Win maths can get a bit fiddly, but for guidance, a five-of-a-kind without any symbol multiplier pays 0.25-0.5x the bet for royals and 0.75-1.25x for character symbols. Assisting with connecting wins is the springy purple car wild, which substitutes for any symbol except Cash scatters.

West Coast Cash Infinity Reels: Slot Features

If you’ve tried ReelPlay’s earlier title Money Mariachi Infinity Reels, the feature set here will feel very familiar. You’ll find an Infinity Bonus, LevelUp Respins, and a bonus buy.

Infinity Bonus

As noted, there is no limit to how many reels can be added during a round. If a round grows to 12 or more reels, players trigger the Infinity Bonus, which pays a prize worth 888x the total bet. The Symbol Multiplier doesn’t apply to the Infinity Bonus, and it can be hit in the base game or during LevelUp Respins.

LevelUp Respins

Hitting at least 3 Cash symbols in a round triggers the LevelUp Respins feature. The triggering Cash symbols are held to the reels, and 3 respins are granted on a grid containing only Cash or Special symbols. When additional Cash symbols land during the bonus, they lock in place and respins are reset to 3. Whenever a reel becomes filled with 4 Cash or Special Symbols, an extra reel is added to the edge of the grid.

Cash symbols begin with prize values of 1 to 5 times the bet. With each respin, every Cash symbol, Dealer, or Enforcer currently showing receives a dollar sign ($). Once a Cash, Dealer, or Enforcer symbol collects 6 dollar signs, it levels up, and its prize value increases by 1x to 5x the bet. After levelling up, the dollar signs are cleared and the collection process starts over. Each time a Cash symbol levels up, it may transform into one of the following Special symbols:

  • Hustler – levels its prize value up on every spin by 1x to 5x the bet without needing dollar signs.
  • Pimp – increases prize value by 10-50x the bet, then transforms back to a Cash symbol.
  • Dealer – adds its prize to adjacent Cash or special symbols each time it levels up (not diagonally adjacent).
  • Enforcer – adds prizes from adjacent symbols to itself each time it levels up (not diagonally adjacent).

When the respins finish, all visible values are totalled and paid out. The Symbol Multiplier does not apply to this win.

Buy Bonus

Players who want to purchase the LevelUp bonus round can do so for 100x the bet. This initiates a spin that triggers the bonus with 6 to 15 reels, and the Infinity Bonus can be won from the triggering round. RTP when buying free spins is 97.04%.

West Coast Cash Infinity Reels: Slot Verdict

The Infinity Reels mechanic has had a somewhat uneven history. Some titles using it are excellent, others less so, which makes each new release a bit of a question mark. Even though the system is energetic and flexible, it hasn’t sparked the same widespread obsession as Megaways, despite multiple studios licensing it from ReelPlay and putting their own spin on it—PG Soft and Relax Gaming among them. Still, one of the stronger Infinity Reels games we’ve seen was Money Mariachi Infinity Reels, so it makes sense that ReelPlay would want to build further on what worked there.

The outcome is West Coast Cash Infinity Reels. It may not be as explosively colourful as Money Mariachi, but it delivers a fun hip-hop, gangster, San Andreas-style atmosphere. It avoids the more playful tone some studios adopt when tackling gangster rap themes—East Coast vs West Coast and Top Dawg$ are good examples. Instead, West Coast Cash Infinity Reels leans into a more straight-faced take on the hustle, similar to what Hustling or HipHopPop PopWins went for. That said, the game sheet had its own humour. Either approach can land, and West Coast Cash Infinity Reels handles the gangster concept with real confidence.

The big attraction is the LevelUp Respins bonus, and it was welcome to see some tweaks made to the Special symbols. Like before, LevelUp Respins can run for a long time; honestly, it’s among the most extended bonus rounds you can realistically trigger in an online slot. It may not stretch quite as far here as it did in Money Mariachi Infinity Reels, since this version has a lower max win of 20,350x the bet. That’s under half of what its sister slot offered, but it’s still a solid chunk of potential winnings.

Overall, West Coast Cash Infinity Reels delivers a slick, enjoyable experience, and it’s satisfying to watch LevelUp Respins go to work again. The core gameplay may not be entirely fresh, but ReelPlay has wrapped it in a very polished presentation—great for players ready to let their keyboard OG alter-egos run wild.
