Warrior Graveyard: Slot Overview
Developer Nolimit City has racked up plenty of standout titles in its back catalogue, but few land with the same impact as Barbarian Fury. Players took to it immediately thanks to the smart mix of features and gameplay wrapped in a richly atmospheric setting. Building on that momentum, the studio has expanded on the Barbarian Fury formula, turning the dial up while steering the sequel Warrior Graveyard into a darker, spookier direction. Alongside bigger potential, Warrior Graveyard brings in a handful of fresh ideas and some genuinely bold feature buy options.

Where Barbarian Fury focused on facing foes head-on, Warrior Graveyard turns to the grim aftermath. It tells the quieter story of those who didn’t make it, falling to the winner’s axe and ending up in a grave. Some warrior traditions call death in battle the highest honour, though many modern players may be less convinced. Because of that, the icy blue-grey look of Warrior Graveyard can take a little more time to click than Barbarian Fury’s punchier presentation. Chains, rails, and graves frame a fog-laden 6-reel, 25-payline grid, while an unnerving soundtrack lingers throughout.
You can play Warrior Graveyard on any device, choosing stakes from 25 p/c to $/€100 per spin. Nolimit City is one of the studios that helpfully lays out key details upfront so players can quickly judge whether a slot suits them. Volatility is shown on the home screen and, here, it’s high. The other major stat is the default RTP, which sits at a solid 96.16%. Be aware some casinos may reduce it to 94.14%, so it’s worth checking you’re on the best version before stepping into the boneyard.
Warrior Graveyard comes with 10 pay symbols in total: 5 low pay single position icons and 5 full reel premium symbols. The lower tier includes hammers, axes, helms, shields, and swords, paying up to 3x the bet for six. Above them are five bleak corpses in battle gear, coloured black, blue, green, brown, and red, paying from 3.3x to 6x the bet for six of a kind.
Warrior Graveyard: Slot Features
Warrior Graveyard uses a feature set reminiscent of Barbarian Fury, but with a few notable improvements. First is xNudge Tombstone Wilds, which are 3 position high symbols that can appear on reels 2 to 5. If they land only partly visible, they nudge into place to fill the reel. With each nudge, the wild’s multiplier increases a multiplier by +1. Multiple wilds can land, allowing a multiplier up to x12 and enabling wins as big as 1,800x on a single spin.
The xNudge mechanic is pushed further with the Warrior Attack feature. This triggers when three matching premium symbols land either fully or partially in view. If they’re only partly shown, they nudge into view, boosting their win multiplier by +1 per nudge, just like the Tombstone Wilds. Once all are fully visible, they shift to the leftmost reels for win evaluation. xNudge Tombstone Wilds may also appear alongside this feature.
As with other Nolimit titles, Warrior Graveyard includes two separate free spin bonus games, with one clearly more nerve-racking than the other. The milder option is Graveyard Spins, triggered by landing 3, 4, or 5 scatters to award 8, 10, or 12 free spins. In Graveyard Spins, the win multiplier starts at x1 and rises by +1 for every Tombstone Wild nudge. The multiplier carries over between spins and does not reset.
The second bonus is the foreboding Death Spins, triggered when 6 scatters land. This awards 14 free spins with a win multiplier that begins at x1 and increases when Tombstone Wilds nudge, as before. The key change is that Tombstone Wilds become locked in place for the entire feature. Neither free spins round can be retriggered, but any scatter that lands adds +1 free spin.
With both free spins modes being so tempting, Nolimit City also offers a bonus buy option to access them directly. Paying 72x the bet guarantees 3-5 scatters on the next spin to trigger Graveyard Spins, while Death Spins requires a hefty 666x the stake.
Warrior Graveyard: Slot Verdict
Barbarian Fury’s blend of swagger, theme execution, and gameplay hit like a war hammer to the face—in the best possible sense. Warrior Graveyard arguably improves on it, though it may take a little longer to fully appreciate than the original. Early testing featured a long stretch where not much happened, and the theme—especially the music—felt genuinely unsettling. Once the game found its groove, however, it started firing off plenty of excitement. The first real standout moment arrived with the Warrior Attack feature, where premium symbols are slammed against the leftmost reel—one of those ideas that feels obvious only after you’ve seen it done.
After that, the intensity only ramps up. The xNudge mechanic remains as potent as ever, and the two bonus games deliver plenty of swings in momentum. They can be slow to arrive naturally, so if you’re feeling adventurous, the feature buy is there too—assuming it’s permitted where you play. The huge all-in Death Spins option may not be quite as reckless as Deadwood‘s Shoot Out Free Spins’ notorious 750x cost, but it still takes serious nerve to press, and it’s bound to be divisive. One possible offset is that wins of up to 9,797 times the bet are now on the table, higher than the first game—something a sequel almost has to deliver.
As noted, Warrior Graveyard may not hook you instantly the way Barbarian Fury does with its brutal opening punch. With a theme so closely tied to death (and glory), it can take a few extra spins before its appeal really shines through. Once it does, though, Warrior Graveyard becomes a highly entertaining ride, and taking it on feels every bit as challenging as its predecessor. Both are dark, volatile beasts—hard to conquer, but extremely rewarding when you finally do.
