Spike Symbols

A spike symbol included in a win copies itself in the direction indicated by the spike on its frame. Spikes cannot transform Loki, Thor, or Odin’s Ravens symbols.

Bonus Game

When Axe Fury is saved in the inventory, Axe Fury activates on every remaining spin after the symbols have dropped in, and Loki may also grant extra Axe Fury features after it has been saved. When Valhall Gold was reviewed, it felt like a week of farewells. We not only encountered Valhall Gold as the final chapter in ELK Studios’ popular Gold series, but just days earlier we also covered Money Train 4, the closing entry in Relax Gaming’s huge train saga. Money Train 4 ended with a bang—pushing win potential to 150,000x, packing in a long list of features, and finishing with a brand-new pay mechanic. Valhall Gold, in comparison, doesn’t stand out quite as dramatically next to several earlier Gold releases. That doesn’t mean Valhall Gold isn’t a top-quality slot; it’s simply that ELK Studios hasn’t chosen to end the series with quite the same fireworks.

Even so, Valhall Gold is a strong entry that does the franchise justice, aside from the continuing drop in RTP values, which may not sit well with everyone.
