Reel Split

Each reel can split 2 times max, and Grit Girl doesn’t split — instead, she doubles its payout multiplier.

Transform ‘Em’

This symbol shows up on the bottom reel only. When it lands, it transforms either all low pays into the same low pay symbol or all characters into the same character symbols. It doesn’t change anything on the top reel, however.

Free Torture Spins

Hitting 1, 2, 3, or 4 scatter symbols unlocks 4, 7, 9, or 10 of the locked positions on the main reels. On top of that, getting 3 scatters in view starts 8 Torture Spins, plus 1 extra spin for each split part of a scatter. Any unlocked positions stay unlocked for the duration of the feature, and landing a 4th scatter upgrades the round to Dead Spins, granting +2 spins and +1 more for each split part of a scatter.

Dead Spins

Landing 4 scatters awards 10 Dead Spins, plus 1 additional spin per split part of a scatter. The key change is that the sticky wild multiplier in the bottom right corner is unlocked. This multiplier increases by +1 for each cascade.

Nolimit Bonus

Altogether, the Nolimit Bonus menu offers three options. Torture spins are priced at 69x the bet, while Dead Spins cost 669x the bet. Alternatively, you can spend 189x the bet for an 80% chance of triggering Torture Spins and 20% for Dead Spins.

By now, things should be at least a bit clearer — though maybe not entirely, because the gameplay is pretty layered, as is often the case with Nolimit City. We’re joking… kind of… not entirely. True Grit isn’t a thesis on quantum entanglement, but it is more intricate than the average slot. Still, part of the appeal of a fresh Nolimit City game is watching 50 different moving parts do whatever they do, then suddenly dropping a chunky payout without being totally sure how it happened.

There’s no doubt the feature list is huge — and you’ll need those mechanics to cooperate if you want progress, since base symbol values are modest. Otherwise, you’re hoping for a tasty Grit Girl hit.
