A quick online search suggests Maori culture has little in common with what’s presented in Tiki Reward. Either All41 Studios overlooked that, or they simply didn’t research it. Either way, it adds to the sense of a slapdash production. It feels like the team grabbed pieces from all over, borrowed a few concepts from the Microgaming library, tossed in a Maori reference for a bit of credibility, and pushed it out the door.

Add the messy design to the low-energy gameplay and Tiki Reward ends up feeling thin, like a diluted copy of other, more enjoyable slots.
