The Stash: Slot Overview

Step into The Stash by Blueprint Gaming, a setting of oversized weapons, loud personalities, and—ideally—serious payouts. You’re dropped into the streets, the rough kind, where people do what they must to get ahead. Thankfully, this is online gambling, so you can live out the cops-and-robbers fantasy safely from your sofa, and The Stash delivers the style while keeping the gameplay lively.

Visually, The Stash blends cartoon touches with more realistic elements and a splash of Art Deco, giving it a contemporary graphic-novel vibe. The base game unfolds in an urban environment—an opportunity-rich place for anyone bold enough to take what’s on offer. We may dip into the theme as we go. The logo even includes a silhouette of famous London landmarks, suggesting the UK as the backdrop. As play progresses, you push deeper into the action, with the chance to get your hands on some loot when The Stash switches into one or both bonus rounds, explained shortly.

The Stash runs on a 5-reel layout, with 3-4-4-4-3 symbols across the reels. If that configuration brings Nolimit City’s Western spectacle Deadwood to mind, wait until you get into the mechanics. To start the action (or the job), players choose a stake of 20 p/c to $/€10 per spin, and it plays smoothly on any device. Another option is the Stash Bet, which increases the wager by 25% while doubling the chance of hitting a bonus game. In terms of maths, it’s medium-high volatile, and the theoretical return is 96%, although a 94% variant also exists, so that’s worth checking.

Wins are formed by landing matching symbols on at least three neighbouring reels from the left. Lower-value icons include Q, K, A, a pistol, and some cards, while the higher-paying symbols are a suitcase plus four gangster-style character tiles. A five-of-a-kind way pays 0.5 to 1 times the bet for low symbols or 1.5 to 3 times the bet for premium ones. Wilds substitute for any of those standard symbols. They can carry multipliers and may also be nudged to fill a whole reel.

The Stash: Slot Features

The Stash includes two bonus rounds. They can be activated independently or together, although they’re played sequentially. The bonus-related symbols are the scatter, which lands on reels 1 and 5, and the Shoot & Spin, which appears on reels 2, 3, and 4.

Lock & Spin Heist

Get 3 Shoot & Spins symbols on the middle three reels to trigger this feature. It’s a hold ‘n win type bonus where you receive 3 respins, and the counter refreshes whenever new symbols drop in. You can land cash symbols, as well as character symbols that alter the feature by doing things such as expanding the grid or adding values.

Free Spins

Landing the scatter on reels 1 and 5 grants 8 free spins. During this round, when wilds appear, they nudge to cover the whole reel. Every nudge step increases a win multiplier, and that multiplier persists until the feature finishes.

Ultimate Heist Free Spins

Hit scatters on reels 1 and 5 along with Shoot & Spins on the three centre reels to trigger both bonus rounds. Free spins run first, and the multiplier you build there carries into the Lock & Spin Heist feature.

Bonus Buys

In eligible jurisdictions, players may be able to use The Stash’s bonus buy menu. It offers three options – free spins, Shoot & Spin, or The Ultimate Heist.

The Stash: Slot Verdict

Is Blueprint Gaming shifting gears lately? For a while it could feel like the catalogue leaned heavily on reworks of reworks—endless DOND slots, Fishin’ Frenzy offshoots, bison themes, and similar repeats. Not that there’s anything inherently wrong with that, and there were plenty of other titles mixed in too; we’re painting with a broad brush. Then Ballin’ arrived, followed by The Stash, and both show a grittier, less polite side of the studio—more confrontational than many earlier releases, with a looser, more playful edge as well.

It’s also not hard to spot where Blueprint may have picked up a bit of inspiration while building The Stash. The reel configuration, the nudging wilds, and the combined scatter/Shoot & Spins approach feel lifted straight from Deadwood. Even so, if you’re going to borrow ideas, you might as well borrow from something excellent. The positive here is that Blueprint hasn’t simply copied; it’s used familiar concepts as a launchpad for something with its own identity. The standout moment is clearly the possibility of triggering Ultimate Heist Free Spins, moving from one bonus into the next. Of course, it’s wise not to assume fireworks every time—it’s entirely possible to finish free spins without earning any multiplier to take into the Lock & Spin Heist. But when it all clicks—really clicks—wins of up to 25,000x the bet are, in theory, on the table.

That would be a proper score, and with The Heist’s strong Guy Ritchie flavour (or maybe it leans more Fast & Furious?), it adds up to a sharply crafted slot that’s loaded with attitude, pace, and a genuine sense of fun.
