Ted 2 Afterparty: Slot Overview
‘No matter how big a splash you make in this world, whether you’re Corey Feldman, Frankie Muniz, Justin Bieber or a talking teddy bear, eventually, nobody gives a sh*t.’ Still, software developer Lucksome is aiming to make waves again with everyone’s favourite foul-mouthed plush, Ted, in the online slot Ted 2 Afterparty. This definitely isn’t the little furball’s first spin on the reels. Blueprint Gaming jumped on the brand when it launched the licensed slot Ted in 2017, and later followed up with Ted Pub Fruit, Ted Jackpot King, Ted Megaways, and Ted Cash and Lock. That’s a whole lot of Ted, but if you’re still not satisfied, come along as we dive into the profanity-laced chaos of Ted 2 Afterparty.
Ted 2 Afterparty kicks off its base game antics in a shop-like setting, with neat shelves and stocked products. Presumably, this is where party animals pick up the supplies they need to survive a night of questionable decisions. When the Cash Feature bonus round is running, the scene shifts to what looks like the aftermath of a heavy session, with the goods already consumed. As for where the free spins take place, that one’s less clear—maybe die-hard fans can fill in the blanks. With rock tracks, smooth lounge tunes, reggae vibes, censored voice lines, cut scenes, and a film image or two, Ted 2 Afterparty’s presentation stays nicely in line with the movies’ tone.

When it comes to choosing a stake, players can set their wager from 10 cents on the lower side up to $/€100 per round at the top end. At those settings, Ted 2 Afterparty delivers an RTP of 95.04%, although the return ticks up slightly if you purchase entry into the bonus rounds. Volatility sits at a medium level, rated 6 out of 10, and gameplay takes place on a gold-framed 5×4 grid with 50 paylines in action.
Onto the paytable, where J-A royals appear alongside low symbols like a six-pack of beer, then a duck, a male character, and two female character symbols rounding things out. Landing 5 OAK of beer or a royal combination returns 0.5 to 1 times the stake, while 5 OAK of the remaining symbols pays 1 to 3 times the bet. Wilds show up on every reel, substitute for any standard pay symbol, and a 5-wild line is worth 20 times the bet.
Ted 2 Afterparty: Slot Features

Ted 2 isn’t quite the feature-heavy ride that Blueprint Gaming’s Ted 1 was, as it focuses mainly on two core additions: free spins with no royal symbols or bottles, plus an expandable Cash Feature hold ‘n win round.
Free Spins
Landing scatter symbols on reels 2, 3, and 4 in the base game awards 10 free spins. During the free spins round, players gain the advantage of not having royal symbols or beer bottle symbols on the reels. Any Ted cash symbol that lands in this feature directly pays its displayed prize value unless 4 or more Teds land, in which case the Cash feature is triggered. Free spins cannot be retriggered.
Cash Feature
The Cash feature activates when 4 or more Ted symbols land in the base game or during free spins. It begins on a 5×4 gaming grid and can grow to 5×8. Ted symbols reveal cash values or jackpot prizes, ranging from 1x and 2,500x the bet. Each new Ted symbol that lands locks into position and resets the spin counter to 3. Collecting a set amount of Ted Cash symbols opens extra rows – 8, 12, 16, or 20 Ted Cash symbols equate to 1, 2, 3, or 4 rows unlocked. One additional row is unlocked if the feature is triggered with 8 or more Ted symbols. Line wins are not possible in the Cash Feature.
Bonus Buy
The bonus buy option lets players purchase either the Cash feature or the 10 free spins feature. Each costs 50 times the bet. The bonus buy RTP is 95.14%.

Ted 2 Afterparty: Slot Verdict
One of the first things that popped into my head while reviewing Ted 2 Afterparty was: why release it now? Ted 2, the film, hit screens in 2015—around 9 years before Ted 2 Afterparty the slot arrived. Perhaps the Lucksome team had just come off a movie night rewatching favourites, and the foul-mouthed teddy stuck in their minds, sparking a return to the Ted slot line. Or maybe Ted 2 Afterparty’s timing is linked to the Ted TV series, which launched the same year. Hard to say, but the good news for fans is that Ted is back, delivering a fun blend of crude humour and movie nods.
Feature-wise, Ted 2 Afterparty doesn’t come close to being as crammed as Blueprint Gaming’s Ted. That earlier title was the sort of game that seemed ready to unleash a barrage of features, modifiers, and extras at the slightest poke. Ted 2 Afterparty pulls things back and keeps the count of add-ons lower. Both bonus rounds also felt unexpectedly straightforward for a Lucksome slot. Free spins without royals and bottles, plus a standard hold ‘n win round—there’s nothing inherently wrong with either, but not much in the gameplay pushes beyond “basic.” Free spins are a bit underwhelming too; even a full screen of the top premium would pay 150x, and the use of jackpot-style prize symbols feels somewhat overused at the time of writing, partly due to the steady stream coming from the Games Global studios corner.
Blueprint Gaming showed sharp timing by releasing the original Ted slot while the brand was still hot. Launching closer to the movies meant it benefited from a certain level of buzz. Ted 2 Afterparty, arriving much later than the films (though admittedly better aligned with the TV show), had to do more to capture that on-screen shine. In some respects it manages it, in others it falls short, and while it will appeal to fans, the ultimately plain features make Ted 2 Afterparty feel true to its name—more like an afterthought than the main attraction.
