Street Knockout: Slot Overview
Hacksaw Gaming’s compatriots from South Africa’s Rainbow Nation, NowNow Gaming, have stepped into the ring with plenty of punches, kicks, and chaos. The reason is Street Knockout, a cascading cluster pays slot that prefers to settle disputes with fists instead of a strongly worded email. Driving the win potential, like a lucky charm tucked inside a boxing glove, are progressive multipliers that build above each reel, a symbol-smashing Golden Fist, and free spins where reel multipliers stay in play right up to the final bell.
The residents of Street Knockout aren’t throwing hands just for laughs, either. In this city’s underbelly, knockouts decide who controls the underground, drawing brawlers, gang bosses, and outsiders who want to test their luck by putting opponents on the canvas. They do it in a fenced-off back alley, late at night, in some grimy corner of town. It does make you think—while fighting is a clear way to declare a winner and a loser, surely it’s better to settle leadership with peaceful votes rather than real jabs, even if democracy has its own issues too.

Street Knockout comes with two RTP setups: 96.3% and 94.34%, while volatility is marked at 4 out of 5, putting it in the medium-high bracket. Symbols fall into a 6×6 arena, and the aim is to connect 5 or more matching symbols in vertically and/or horizontally adjacent spaces to create a winning cluster. Along with three optional bonus buys, players can stake anywhere from 10 c to $/€100.
The game’s eleven pay symbols are made up of 9-A card ranks and five fighter symbols. Clusters of 5 matching symbols pay 0.1 to 1 times the bet, while the largest clusters feature 13+ symbols and return 10 to 100 times the bet. The wild substitutes for every paying symbol in the slot. Any winning symbols are removed from the grid, letting the remaining symbols cascade down to fill the gaps. Fresh symbols drop in from above, and if another winning cluster appears after the fall, the cascade sequence continues.
Street Knockout: Slot Features

Street Knockout’s main combo is built around cascades, knockout wilds, Golden Fists, a Power Bonus, and bonus buys.
Knockout Wilds
The knockout feature can activate on any base game spin. When it does, a random number of positions are highlighted. After that, symbols drop onto the reels, and any fighter symbols landing on highlighted spots turn into wilds with a multiplier. If the highest paying symbol becomes a wild, the available multipliers range from x5 to x500, while all other fighter symbols that convert into wilds award a multiplier of x1 to x10. Multipliers are collected at the top of the reels. When a winning combination hits, the multipliers above the winning cluster are totalled and applied to the payout. Knockout wilds can also land during cascades. If a multiplier is already sitting above the reels, any new multipliers are added to it.
Golden Fist
During the knockout feature, one or more Golden Fist symbols can show up. After any wins, the Golden Fist symbol triggers one of two events. It may remove symbols in a cross on the matrix, destroying symbols in the same row and column as the Golden Fist so new ones can drop in, giving another shot at a win. Scatters and wilds are not removed. Alternatively, the Golden Fist can remove all low pay symbols from the reels, which also triggers a cascade.
Power Bonus
Hitting 4, 5, or 6 scatters in the base game awards 6, 8, or 10 free spins, respectively. The Power Bonus plays like the base game, except multipliers do not reset throughout the entire bonus session.
Bonus Buy
BonusHunt FeatureSpins can be launched via the bonus buy, costing 2x the bet to make each spin 3 times more likely to trigger a bonus game. Knockout FeatureSpins cost 50x, with every spin beginning with reel multipliers of x1 to x100, and the knockout feature guaranteed. Finally, players can purchase the Power Bonus for 100x their bet.

Street Knockout: Slot Verdict
Partnering with a studio like Hacksaw Gaming likely brings plenty of upsides—visibility, a strong association, and perhaps even support in the development process. At the same time, being tied to a major name can make it harder to shine outside the long shadow it creates. Street Knockout holds its own, though, lasts a few rounds, and lands some solid shots. The last couple of NowNow Gaming slots we covered, Shadow Treasure and 8-Bit Quest, were easy on the eyes, and Street Knockout follows suit. The wiggly woo metal soundtrack, the visuals, the “fight” voiceover, and the “Street” branding give it a video game vibe that some players will appreciate.
The feature set has highlights as well, and NowNow Gaming clearly enjoys boosting wins with multipliers in one form or another—just like its partner Hacksaw Gaming, famously. Shadow Treasure also used multipliers above the reels, and 8-Bit Quest ran with a rising global multiplier, for example, though the approach here differs from both. Street Knockout also brought Hand of Anubis’ Underworld feature to mind, with a touch of Chaos Crew 2 mixed in.
So, Street Knockout sits in pretty notable company, even if it didn’t feel like a slot that hits quite as hard as some of Hacksaw Gaming’s biggest bruisers. It does offer a payout cap of 10,000x that can land in the base game as well as in free spins, plus a scrappy attitude and some slick execution with its cluster, multiplier, cascade combo—so it has a strong chance of catching the eye of fight-themed slot fans.
