Space Stallion (Stakelogic): Overview
The folks at Stakelogic have been on a real run lately, and Space Stallion is the fourth title we’ve come across in just the last couple of weeks. The range has been all over the place too—wilderness adventures, oil drilling, Christmas themes, and now a sci‑fi space slot with the wonderfully on-the-nose title Space Stallion. If you read the developer’s official write-up, it’s so gloriously over-the-top that it’s hard not to buy into it. For example: ‘Take your quantum-gun out of your saddlebags and steer your spaceship to the Reels Solar System to look for the fabulous Space Stallion!’ Incredible. It’s so ridiculous it loops back around to being fun, and hopefully the game itself can match those lofty expectations.
It starts well the moment it loads. Space Stallion is an attractive slot with a soft, dreamy cartoon style. It’s amusing—most of the time you can go years without seeing a futuristic Wild West slot, and then two appear within a week. Visually, this and Big Bounty Bill are both appealing, though they’re clearly going for different vibes and approaches. The symbols on Space Stallion’s 5×3 grid sit on see-through reels, letting you take in more of the neon-soaked, run-down frontier town of the future behind them. Along the bottom, the interface shows the 30 fixed paylines, the total bet range from 30 p/c to either $/€30 or $/€60 depending on the casino, plus the spin controls. Choose your stake, and you’re ready to become a ‘gun-wielding outlaw on distant planets.’ Yes, that line was too good not to quote again.
Open the paytable and you’re hit with a bright neon spread of symbols, starting with the low-paying 10 through Ace card royals. Above those are four higher-value themed icons. First comes the sidekick, then a tough-looking space cowboy, an equally tough space cowgirl, and finally the space stallion as the headline act. Landing five stallions pays 20x the stake, which is decent, though there’s a steep gap down to the rest of the lineup. The cowgirl is next best, and she pays only 6x the stake by comparison. Still, Space Stallion doesn’t feel stingy, offering an RTP of 96.11% paired with medium/high volatility. And sitting behind it all is a seriously solid maximum win. Time to grab that ‘quantum-gun’ and see how the top payout is reached—whatever a quantum-gun actually is.
Space Stallion (Stakelogic): Features

The Stallion symbol can appear in two formats: the regular 1×1 size or an enlarged 2×2 tile. This increases its presence on the reels and also ties it directly into the feature mechanics. When the 2×2 version lands with a wild symbol visible, it turns into the 2×2 Jumbo Wild, making it easier to connect with more winning combinations. Both wild types can replace any other symbol in the game except the scatter.
The scatter symbol is the spaceship blazing across the horizon above the planet. Landing three triggers the Free Spins Bonus Game, awarding 8 free spins. The free spins follow the base game rules, but with two important differences. First, when the 2×2 Jumbo Wild lands, it transforms into a Traveling Wild. Rather than disappearing when a new spin starts, it shifts down by one position on each spin until it eventually drops off. The second change is even stronger: a progressive multiplier that increases by 1 for every win during the free spins. One more crucial detail—free spins will keep going, even after they would normally end, if a Traveling Wild is still visible on the reels.
To finish, it wouldn’t feel like the Wild West (or Stakelogic) without a bonus gamble option. As usual, it’s based on picking the correct colour or suit of a face-down card to win double or quadruple the bet. The gamble feature can be repeated as long as the player keeps guessing correctly, up to a limit determined by the casino operator.
Space Stallion (Stakelogic): Verdict
Put the name aside—it does sound like it could be a cartoon aimed at pre-teen girls—and overlook the wildly silly promo text, because Space Stallion is actually a solid slot. The imaginative theme delivers a fun bit of escapism to somewhere strange and otherworldly, and the visuals are better than average. Bright, odd, and colourful, the presentation supports the gameplay nicely, and the transparent reels are a great fit. Add in reasonably paying symbols and a few engaging feature twists, and you get a slot that’s easy to enjoy. It currently comes across stronger than its closest comparison, Big Bounty Bill, and with good win potential in the mix, it should suit a broad range of players.
As noted earlier, Strikelogic have been especially prolific lately, and each release has felt completely different from the previous one in style, theme, and mechanics. With this team, it’s hard to predict what’s coming next, which keeps things fresh. The one area where they’ve been remarkably consistent is payout potential. Players will be glad to see that this continues to lean high, and Space Stallion keeps the streak going with wins of up to 7,200 times the stake available.
Against the other Stakelogic slots we’ve covered recently, Space Stallion feels like a step back toward their more offbeat and unconventional side. Football Gladiators, anyone? The best approach is to relax and let it do what it does. It won’t suit every taste, not by a long shot, but it’s an enjoyable slot and the rewards are there to be found.
