In our testing, the slot felt incomplete, with multiple screens failing to behave properly. The message that should alert you when the cash bet has changed, the info panel, and other interface elements were all out of sync, leaving the impression of poor execution. Hopefully, the underlying maths is at least correct.

Royal Family is a clone of Vikings Go Berzerk, so it doesn’t really offer anything fresh or inventive. Collectable features are advertised, but we hardly encountered them, and it quickly became clear that entering the bonus with the standard 8 free spins gives you very little chance of a strong outcome.

The spinning symbols in the free spins feature that can reveal wilds are entertaining at first, but they soon start to grate, as the conversion rate looks closer to 1 in 20 rather than the 50/50 impression the visuals suggest. The game has a 96.1% RTP, and sadly there’s no available data on maximum win potential, though it’s probably in line with Vikings Go Berzerk.
