Rise of Egypt Slot (Mini Review)
Rise of Egypt by TaDa Gaming joins the already packed Egyptian-themed slot category, featuring a 5×4 setup with 20 paylines, free spins, and a top payout of 10,000x the bet. The default RTP comes in at 97.08%, which is above average for this type of game, and the betting range runs from €0.20 to €100.
On the visual side, it doesn’t really push the theme forward. You get the usual staples—a stern pharaoh, gleaming temples, and hieroglyphic symbols—and while everything looks polished, there’s nothing particularly new here. If you’ve played plenty of Egyptian slots before, you’ll find it very familiar, even if it delivers a solid overall presentation.
The main point of difference in Rise of Egypt is the nudging wild feature. When a wild lands as part of a winning combination, it triggers a multiplier wheel with values reaching up to x100. If the wild includes a number, the wheel nudges down that many steps, collecting each multiplier along the way before applying the combined total to the win. This can lead to sizeable base-game hits, which not every slot manages to offer.
The free spins feature starts when three or more scatters land, awarding 10 spins to begin with. Any multipliers gained from the wheel feed into a global multiplier that stays in place even through dead spins, which can produce strong outcomes if wilds keep appearing. Retriggers can also occur, granting additional spins to keep the round going.
Some players may miss having a bonus buy, but the high RTP, 10,000x max win, and the upside in both the base game and the feature help make up for it. That said, the theme feels overused, and the bonus round can sometimes feel less exciting than the wild multiplier action you can get during standard spins.
All in all, Rise of Egypt doesn’t redefine Egyptian slots, but its mechanics bring enough impact to stop it from feeling forgettable.
