Rings of Prosperity: Slot Overview
Prosperity—whether you define it as thriving, success, or simple good luck in areas like money, health, and happiness—is something most of us chase in one way or another. The question is how to find it…? Rings of Prosperity, an online slot from software provider Play’n GO, might—if fortune smiles—offer a shot at a bit of financial luck. Or it might not; it’s still a slot, after all. Set in an Asian-inspired style, it features Dragon God scatters dropping in to form Rings and Coins in different colours and values.
Rings of Prosperity is set in a calm, attractive world of clean, line-drawn scenery—rocks, hills, and sky. The Asian theme is unmistakable; dragons are everywhere to underline it, yet the overall look also feels a little different, like a blend of slot and art print. Players with an eye for presentation may appreciate the subtle visual twist compared to many similar titles. It’s not a reinvention of the genre, but it does make an effort to stand out.

On the mechanics side, it’s all fairly standard. Play takes place on a 5×3 reelset with 243 ways to win, framed by a red, gold and green layout—like that Culture Club track. Sitting at medium volatility, stakes run from 20c to $/€100 per spin, and the highest of the five available RTP settings is 96.2%.
The paytable starts with J-A card ranks as the lower-value symbols, followed by sycees, golden bonsai trees, green pots, red pots, and purple pots. A 5-of-a-kind line of royals returns 0.5x to 0.75x the bet, while 5 matching premium symbols pay 1.25x to 6x the bet. Wilds pay in line with the purple pots, and they can substitute for all symbols except scatters.
Rings of Prosperity: Slot Features

In the base game, whenever a bonus scatter lands on the middle reel, the Prosperity Wheel above the grid spins to award a random prize. The outcome can be one of three instant prizes or one of three Pot Respins features.
Instant Prize
Instant prize wins are paid straight away, and can be the Minor, Major, or Grand prize valued at 30x, 50x, or 100x the bet, respectively.
Rings of Prosperity
Rings of Prosperity show up on the reels during free spins and Pot Respins. Each time a Dragon God scatter lands in these features, a Ring is placed or upgraded in that spot. Rings come in coloured Green, Red, and Purple. When the feature ends, every Ring turns into a Gold Coin that reveals an instant prize. Green Gold Coins reveal 2x to 5x the bet, Red Gold Coins 6x to 12.5x the bet, or Purple Gold Coins reveal 15x to 25x the bet.
Pot Respins
If the Prosperity Wheel lands on the Green, Red, or Purple Pot, Pot Respins begin. Each version grants 6 respins, and it cannot be retriggered. The activating bonus scatter transforms into a Dragon God scatter, and 2 additional Dragon God scatters are randomly added to the reels at the start. During Pot Respins, Dragon God scatters create a Ring based on the colour of the Pot that triggered the feature. A Ring upgrade happens when the entire reel area is filled with Rings of the same colour – Green to Red to Purple. If all positions are filled with Purple Rings and a Dragon God scatter lands, an extra 100x is instantly awarded.
Free Spins
Landing 3 or more Dragon God scatters in the base game awards 6 free spins. If the trigger is 3, 4, or 5 scatters, the starting Rings are 3 Green, 4 Red, or 5 Purple, respectively. Each Dragon scatter that lands during the feature either creates a new Green Ring or upgrades an existing one from Green to Red to Purple. If it lands in a Purple Ring, it moves to a new reel position to create a Green Ring. If no empty position exists, the lowest value Ring on the reels is upgraded. If all positions are filled with Purple Rings and a Dragon God scatter lands, an extra 100x is instantly awarded. Each bonus scatter landing on the middle reel causes the wheel to award +1 to +5 free spins up to a cap of 70. Free spins cannot be triggered from the Prosperity Wheel or during Pot Respins.

Rings of Prosperity: Slot Verdict
Rings of Prosperity certainly delivers on the “rings” part and teases the idea of prosperity, so the title fits on the surface. The Rings themselves, though, aren’t especially prosperous, unfortunately. For example, a full grid of Purple Rings that all happen to reveal the top 25x prize would amount to a total of 375x the bet. That’s hardly a disaster, but it’s not exactly a huge “prosperity” moment either. The game’s maximum potential is 5,000x the bet, and there’s no realistic way that Ring-revealed Coins alone will get players close to that, which feels slightly mismatched for a ring-focused slot with this name.
Still, with expectations set accordingly, Rings of Prosperity can entertain anyone who enjoys Asian themed slots. And there are other routes to winnings that don’t rely on rings. The Prosperity Wheel’s Minor, Major, or Grand prize is one example, although for jackpot-style hits they’re fairly small and can feel a bit unnecessary. Their RTP share may have been more impactful elsewhere. Instead, it seems the best way to push returns is to land as many matching symbols as possible across those 1,024 ways, rather than leaning too heavily on the process of building Rings, upgrading them, and then flipping them into Coins.
Then again, not every player is chasing maximum exposure; some just want a few moments of excitement along the way. From that angle, Rings of Prosperity is a solid, good-looking Asian slot with a fairly intricate land-and-upgrade Ring-to-Coin mechanic that should appeal to the right audience.
