Paper Biker: Slot Overview
With everything now online, it may surprise some that, years ago, plenty of kids earned pocket money delivering newspapers—collecting a bundle and cycling around the neighbourhood to drop them at subscribers’ homes. There’s even an iconic 1980s game, Paperboy, where you play a kid on a bike hurling papers while avoiding hazards. Today, players can tap into that same delivery-day vibe with Paper Biker from Hacksaw partner Bullshark Games, only this time there’s real gambling attached. Newspapers actually whip across the play area, creating individual cell multipliers that stay in place during free spins.
Paper Biker’s lead character isn’t some wide-eyed kid earning 5 cents an hour (and it would be pretty odd if he were). Instead, he’s a fully grown man with a proper moustache and beard who, for unexplained reasons, has lost his license and swapped his ‘iron beast’ for a pedal bike. The attitude, however, is still intact as he rides through the base game delivering papers, then heads to a biker bar to blow off steam in the bonus rounds.

Paper Biker rolls out on a 6×6 grid using a cluster pays system, backed by a medium-high volatile math model (rated 4 out of 5). Players get two RTP options—peaking at 96.24%—plus feature buys and stakes ranging from 10c to $/€50 per spin.
A payout is formed when at least 5 matching symbols connect as a cluster anywhere on the grid. Those winning symbols then disappear, letting new and remaining symbols fall into place. If the drop creates another win, the cascade mechanic repeats. Landing 5 matching 10-A card ranks, knuckle dusters, scarves, glasses, or helmets returns 0.1x to 0.5x the bet, while 10x to 50x is awarded when a 27+ OAK cluster lands. Wild biker symbols can substitute for any paying symbol.
Paper Biker: Slot Features

Paper Biker’s feature set includes Newspaper roll-triggered cell multipliers, the Daily Delivery bonus, the Special Edition bonus, and feature buys.
Newspaper Roll Symbol
Whenever a Newspaper roll symbol lands, it lights up 3 to 10 random cells and gives each one a random multiplier. White Newspapers award x2 to x5, orange Newspapers give x10 to x20, and red Newspapers provide x25 to x100 multiplier values. If a multiplied cell is struck again, its multiplier is doubled. If a cell containing a wild is hit, it becomes activated and gets a multiplier. On top of that, 2 to 6 wilds are placed randomly on the grid (not on top of other wilds, scatters or Newspaper rolls). These extra wilds are only added once per cascade, even if the same wild is hit multiple times. Cell multipliers affect any win that includes the symbol sitting in that cell. If a win uses more than one cell multiplier, they are combined before being applied. Cell multipliers persist through cascades, but every new base game spin resets them.
If a high pay helmet symbol is hit, that cell is also activated and assigned a multiplier. Then, one random low-paying symbol type is selected, and all matching symbols on the reels convert to helmet symbols. When multiple helmet symbols are hit, each one picks a different low pay symbol type to transform. If there aren’t enough low symbols available to choose from, no conversion takes place. The same helmet can be hit repeatedly, doubling its multiplier each time after the first, but the low-symbol conversion can only occur once per cascade. The Newspaper roll then turns into a wild, and in the base game, the Newspaper roll only activates when there are winning combinations on the grid.
Daily Delivery
Landing 3 or 4 scatters in the base game triggers 8 or 10 free spins, respectively, in the Daily Delivery bonus. Any revealed cell multipliers remain active until the feature ends, continuing to build throughout free spins. Each scatter that lands during the bonus adds +1 free spin.
Special Edition
Hitting 5 scatters triggers 12 free Special Edition spins. It runs with the same rules as Daily Delivery, but with an increased chance for each Newspaper roll symbol to activate more cells.
Feature Buy
BonusHunt FeatureSpins cost 3x the bet, making each spin five times more likely to trigger free spins, while Headline Hit FeatureSpins cost 50x to guarantee at least two Newspaper rolls land. The Daily Delivery bonus may be bought for 100x or 250x buys the Special Edition.

Paper Biker: Slot Verdict
Bullshark Games leans heavily into the cluster pays format, with a big portion of its catalogue built around this style of payout system. From Piggy Cluster and Coop Clash to Amazing Miceketeers and more, the studio has found plenty of ways to pair cluster pays with different supporting mechanics. Multipliers—one way or another—show up often across its cluster titles, and Paper Biker offers a straightforward but potentially punchy spin on the idea. Did the paper-delivery theme come first, or the concept of symbols flying around the grid to create cell multipliers? Hard to say, but the two ideas mesh perfectly.
In play, it’s solid, if sometimes a touch foreseeable. The base game can feel a little slow as spins tick by, clusters land for modest returns, and Newspaper rolls sprinkle multipliers around. The helmet mechanic—where helmet symbols transform other symbols into helmets when struck by a Newspaper roll—is a great addition that can occasionally produce a respectable hit. Still, Paper Biker really starts to shine once free spins begin, thanks to the spread of persistent cell multipliers. Even then, it can struggle at times to link up large clusters with a stack of big multis. It can definitely happen, but it was notable—and occasionally frustrating—how often the game could dish out dead or low-paying free spins, even with multipliers covering much of the board.
That said, it doesn’t take much to swing things in the other direction. Turn a few helmets under some hefty multis and, who knows, players might be cycling toward the game’s 15,000x top win. Like riding the same familiar streets and stuffing papers into the same old letter boxes, Paper Biker can become a bit repetitive, but Bullshark Games has packed in enough engaging elements to keep cluster pays fans interested for a while.
