Nitropolis TV: Slot Overview
Wait, wasn’t the Nitropolis saga supposed to wrap up after Nitropolis 5, the one marketed as “The Final Battle”? Apparently not, because ELK Studios is back on the offbeat, animal-filled planet with an online slot that shifts attention away from clans fighting Sgt Nitro Wolf and toward something a bit more personal and uplifting. Nitropolis TV follows the story of an ambitious vulture dreaming of getting on the telly and becoming a small-screen star. That quirky premise is powered up by all kinds of Nitro Reel-fuelled antics, making this a charmingly lively return to Nitropolis.
The setup is delivered via a warm intro animation, then drops players on top of a building looking out over the towers and skyscrapers of downtown Nitropolis. The conflict seems finished, the nuclear-doom gloom has cleared, and the sun is out. Even so, the clans still appear symbolically on the reels, and Nitro Reels sit above the main grid as nods to earlier Nitropolis slots—yet the overall vibe here is lighter and more bubbly, brought to life with polished visuals and audio.

What many players may find less appealing is the 94% RTP, whether you’re using X-iter modes or wagering 10 c to $/€100 per spin—but this is ELK, so it comes with the territory. The action is governed by a highly volatile model on a 6×4 gaming area with 4,096 ways to win, with the potential to expand when Nitro Reels come into play.
Jack through Ace serve as Nitropolis TV’s low-pay symbols, while the premium set includes a Rogue Rat, a Pug Thug, a Gritty Kitty and a Dirty Dawg. Low symbols pay 0.25 times the bet for a 6-of-a-kind winning way, increasing to 0.5 to 2 times the bet for 6 matching high symbols in a winning way. The wild substitutes for any symbol except the vulture, scatter or super scatter. A full wild payline pays the same as the top-paying symbol. Wilds, lows, and highs can appear as standard 1×1, super 2×2, or mega 3×3 symbols. Oversized symbols count as the number of 1×1 positions they occupy.
Nitropolis TV: Slot Features

Nitropolis TV packs in Nitro Reels, upgrading stars, a modifier-triggering vulture symbol, free spins, super free spins, and X-iter feature buys.
Nitro Reels
A Nitro Reel is considered active when it contains 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12 matching 1×1 symbols. Nitro Reels are positioned above the main grid, and one or more can activate on the opening spin. They stay active until the end of a game sequence. When a win lands, the main reels plus any Nitro Reels involved in that win respin, offering another shot at landing more wins.
Upgrading Stars
Star overlays on paying symbols are collected reel by reel and are used to activate and/or increase Nitro Reel size. If a Nitro Reel already holds 12 symbols, it becomes filled with wilds.
Vulture Symbol
The vulture symbol can appear on any spin, activating 1 of 4 modifiers before it transforms into a wild symbol:
- Match Up – selects a random number of low symbol types currently visible and changes them all into the same high pay or wild symbols.
- Nitro Shift – switches a random number of Nitro Reels in an attempt to create a win or enhance an existing one.
- Nitro Upgrade – turns on a random number of inactive Nitro Reels and/or increases the size of Nitro Reels that are already active.
- Both Ways – checks wins from both ends of the grid. Remains active until the end of a spin in the base game and free spins round, but stays on for the entire super free spins bonus round.
Free Spins Bonus
In the base game, hitting 3, 4, 5, or 6 scatters awards 8, 10, 12, or 14 free spins, respectively. In free spins, all activated Nitro Reels remain persistent throughout the round. Each scatter landed awards an extra free spin. If a super scatter helped trigger the feature, the super bonus game is awarded instead. In the super bonus, every free spin begins with a Nitro Reel filled with wild symbols, and the Both Ways feature is active throughout the bonus.
X-iter
The X-iter includes multiple paid modes that players can switch on. Bonus Hunt can be purchased for 3x the bet, giving every spin 4 times the chance to trigger a bonus or super bonus game. Spotlight costs 10x the bet and places a vulture symbol on every spin. Showtime ensures an activated Nitro Reel packed with wilds, a vulture symbol, and Both Ways active for 25x the bet. Alternatively, players may buy the bonus round for 100x, or pay 500x to buy the super bonus.

Nitropolis TV: Slot Verdict
Anyone who assumed the series ended after the so-called final battle is in for an unexpected bonus. ELK Studios has repeatedly shown it enjoys revisiting earlier concepts, then adjusting, polishing, and reshaping them into something new. That might mean building a sequel, or digging further into a setting—much like the 4 clan-focused slots Gritty Kitties, Rogue Rats, Dirty Dawgs, and Pug Thugs of Nitropolis that came before this release. Nitropolis TV not only highlights a fresh angle on a familiar world, it also retools the core Nitro Reels mechanic in a different way.
Previously, Nitro Reels dropped directly onto the main grid, creating all kinds of chaos as they forced more and more symbols into play. Nitropolis TV streamlines that by giving Nitro Reels their own dedicated row, reducing the visual clutter while keeping the feature’s potential strength intact. Although no maximum payline figure is stated, the game can theoretically generate a huge number of ways to win. It’s unfortunate there’s no on-screen counter showing the total as Nitro Reels appear and grow via those star overlays. Vulture symbols add extra unpredictability through the 4 modifiers they can trigger, while big symbols do what big symbols do whenever they show up.
Nitropolis TV doesn’t quite deliver the same adrenaline jolt as earlier Nitropolis slots when everything goes fully off the rails. It’s calmer and more orderly in presentation than some of its predecessors. Still, it’s a polished production that looks, sounds, and plays very well, and it comes with a win cap of 10,000x. When it comes to concepts, ELK Studios continues to show it has plenty worth exploring, blending together into a steady stream of wagering entertainment. Complaints about the maths and stats are understandable, but in terms of creativity and execution, Nitropolis TV is another reminder that ELK Studios sits among the top-tier casino game developers.
