Moon Princess Stargazing: Slot Overview
Moon Princess is an Asian cartoon-style slot that has treated developer Play’n GO well ever since its 2017 debut. It didn’t just perform strongly on its own; it also led to a long line of sequels and reskins as the studio looked for fresh ways to repurpose the core mechanics across new themes and extra side features. From Christmas to Origins to Power of Love and beyond, Moon Princess has remained a dependable staple for the provider, and the line now expands again with Moon Princess Stargazing, which brings two new princesses into the mix.
In keeping with the usual setup, only one princess appears at a time, floating to the right of the play area and signalling which Princess Power could activate. The reels, interface, and mechanical elements retain that classic Moon Princess feel, while the backdrop shifts to a cosmic scene to fit the stargazing theme. It’s unmistakably Moon Princess, with a touch of newness layered over something very familiar.

Symbols fall into a 5×5 space and pay when 3 or more matching symbols connect in a vertical or horizontal line. Any winning symbols are removed, after which the remaining symbols drop down, but no new symbols enter from above. Cascades continue until no further matches are created or the grid has been cleared. Bets range from 10 c to $/€100 per spin in this highly volatile slot, and the top RTP option is 96.2%.
The low pays are bells, hearts, stars, and circles, while the high pays are the three princesses. Five-of-a-kind wins return 1x the bet for low symbols, 3x the bet for the high symbols, or 2x for princess symbol combinations. Wild symbols can’t land naturally and are only created; one is placed in the centre after a 3 OAK win is removed, and it substitutes for any paying symbol. Five wilds in a line pay 5x, and if the grid contains only wilds, they are removed.
Moon Princess Stargazing: Slot Features

Moon Princess Stargazing includes a win multiplier, Girl Powers, Resonance spins, free spins, and a grid clearance reward.
Win Multiplier
At the start of every spin, 3 to 10 random grid positions are highlighted. The multiplier increases by +1 whenever a win lands on a highlighted position. All wins are multiplied by the current multiplier, which resets ahead of each new base game round. If every highlighted position is hit within a round, the 5x Constellation prize is awarded and then multiplied by the win multiplier.
Girl Power
Girl Power triggers at random on any spin, based on which princess is currently active on the screen. Astra adds 1-2 Power Wilds that stay on the reels after wins; Nova places 2-5 wilds in a diagonal line; and Star adds 2 or 3 wilds. After each Girl Power activation, the active princess switches.
Resonance
A three-segmented meter is positioned beside the reels and is filled by winning princess symbols (wilds included). A 3, 4, or 5 OAK princess win fills 1, 2, or 3 segments, respectively. Once the meter is filled and no additional wins appear, one free Resonance spin is granted. The multiplier resets, and a Girl Power activates on each symbol drop where no win occurs. The sequence is Astra, then Nova, then Star, and if the grid is completely cleared, free spins begin.
Free Spins
Before free spins start, players choose one of the three princesses. During free spins, the selected Girl Power triggers on every non-winning spin. The win multiplier carries over from Resonance, and it does not reset until the free spins feature ends. Filling the meter awards +3 free spins, up to a maximum of 50. Resonance cannot activate while free spins are running.
Grid Clearance
Emptying the grid of symbols, except during Resonance, awards 20x the bet multiplied by the win multiplier.

Moon Princess Stargazing: Slot Verdict
Moon Princess Stargazing was a decent enough title to go through. It should appeal to players who want a slightly adjusted dose of Moon Princess gameplay, provided they aren’t expecting standout originality on the technical side. It operates much like the rest of the MP family, leaning on smaller tweaks rather than space-sized breakthroughs. In fact, one of the most surprising changes is that Love and Storm have been swapped out in favour of Nova and Astra.
To be fair, the two newcomers come with their own ways of influencing play. Rather than converting symbols into other types or wiping groups of symbols from the grid, every power here focuses on adding wilds in one way or another. That’s a narrower range of effects, but it can still be effective—especially the Power Wilds that remain in place after helping form a win. Beyond that, Moon Princess Stargazing largely revisits a framework Play’n GO has used repeatedly across multiple releases, including non-Moon Princess titles like Rise of Olympus and others. By now, it can feel either a bit worn out or like a comfortable, well-broken-in pair of shoes that fits just right.
Where Moon Princess Stargazing clearly outperforms the original Moon Princess is in potential max returns. It isn’t the biggest in the series—that honour goes to Moon Princess Origins—but Stargazing still offers a 10,000x win cap, even if the max exposure isn’t especially generous. Overall, Moon Princess Stargazing is a solid, playable MP entry, though it’s likely best for fans who enjoy picking up on small differences rather than players looking for something truly fresh.
