Money Train 3: Slot Overview
Secure the pets, seal the doors, tie your laces twice—whatever it takes to brace yourself for a serious reel-powered beast. This is Relax Gaming’s Money Train 3, and if you’ve played (or endured) the earlier entries, you’ll already be arriving with sky-high expectations for part 3. Same here, so instead of dragging out the suspense, let’s jump in and see how we’re looking once the dust settles.
The experience kicks off with a strong intro sequence that shifts Money Train 3 away from the dusty setting of part two into something much more futuristic. A Jinx-like character fires a laser that morphs into a hyper-chromed train, and then it’s straight into the action. The base game unfolds in… a workshop, a station, a lab where locomotives are built into something stranger? Hard to say, but it’s a major departure from what came before and underlines Relax Gaming’s growing sci-fi leanings. A Western-flavoured soundtrack keeps the series connection alive before you choose your bet and find out what comes charging through next.

Stake sizes run from 10 p/c to $/€10 per spin, a tighter spread than you often see, though once you clock the upside, it’s not exactly shocking. And it almost goes without saying: Money Train 3 is highly volatile, so handle with caution. The standard RTP is 96.1%, rising to 96.5% when purchasing any of the four—yes, four—bonus options. Base gameplay uses a 5-reel, 4-row layout with 40 fixed paylines, and it’s playable on any device.
Line hits aren’t necessarily the headline act here, but they do get a boost thanks to a respin mechanic, so they’re worth a quick look. Low-value symbols are chunky diamonds, clubs, hearts, and spades, paying 3-5x the bet for five of a kind, while the premium set features four character symbols worth 8 to 20 times the stake. Completing the lineup is the wild symbol, which can land on every reel. Wilds replace any paying symbol and, when forming wild line wins, they pay the same as the highest premium.
Money Train 3: Slot Features

This is where the intensity really starts climbing, and there’s plenty to unpack, beginning with the base game Respin feature, which may trigger randomly on any non-winning spin. When it activates, one of the symbols in view is randomly selected to be sticky, and you receive a respin. During respins, any newly selected symbols that land turn sticky and grant another respin. You can also hit x1, x2, or x3 multiplier symbols; these don’t stick, but they do raise the win multiplier. If no new symbols appear, the feature finishes and the total win is paid.

Money Cart Bonus Round
Hitting at least 3 bonus symbols in the base game activates the Money Cart Bonus Round. Persistent gold symbols may also stand in for Bonus symbols to trigger the bonus round. Each triggering symbol becomes sticky, reveals a value, and 3 respins are awarded. If a Persistent symbol helped start the round, it performs its action before the first spin. Whenever new symbols land, they also stick and reset the spin count back to 3. If you manage to fill an entire column with symbols, an extra column opens up—and this can happen two times. During the feature, standard value symbols can land worth 1x to 10x the bet, along with these special symbols:
- Collector – gathers all values on screen and adds them to itself.
- Sniper – doubles the values of 3-8 other bonus symbols. It can double the same bonus symbols more than once.
- Collector-Payer – selects 3 to 5 symbols, adds their values to its own, then adds its updated total to those targets.
- Necromancer – revives 2-7 already used non-persistent special symbols. The same symbol can be revived more than once.
- Absorber – absorbs all normal bonus symbols and removes them from the reels. Cannot absorb Special Symbols.
- Tommy Gun Sniper – chooses a random target and doubles its value 2 to 6 times.
- Tommy Gun Payer – displays a value of 5x to 100, then adds that value to a random symbol 3 to 10 times.
- Persistent Collector – collects all visible values and add them to its own at the end of the current spin and each spin from then on.
- Persistent Sniper – doubles the value of 3-8 other bonus symbols at the end of the current spin and each spin from then on. It can act on the same bonus symbol more than once.
- Persistent Collector-Payer – picks 3 to 5 symbols at the end of each spin, adds their values to its own, then pays out its new value to those targets.
- Persistent Necromancer – brings 1 to 7 already used non-persistent special bonus symbols back to life for reuse. Can revive one symbol more than once.
- Persistent Shapeshifter – changes into a different special symbol after every spin.
Once respins are exhausted, or the win cap is reached, the bonus round ends.
Buy Feature
By using the bonus buy button, players can purchase one of the four bonus buy options. The choices are: the bonus game with 1 starting spin for 20x the bet, the bonus game with 2 starting spins for 50x the bet, the regular bonus round for 100x the bet, or the bonus round with 1 starting Persistent Symbol for 500x the bet.

Money Train 3: Slot Verdict
One of the standout strengths of the Money Train series is how clearly it evolves from game to game. The original Money Train leaned most heavily into classic Western vibes, then Money Train 2 introduced a strong Steampunk edge, while the third entry pushes furthest into advanced tech. That progression feels natural, and it’s genuinely exciting to imagine what Relax Gaming might build next. Importantly, the mechanics and feature set have advanced in step with the changing world across all three releases.
Money Train 2 was a rare, era-defining slot, yet Relax Gaming has still managed to upgrade almost everything for Part 3. As before, the Money Cart Bonus Round is the main event, and Relax Gaming hasn’t played it safe here. There are fresh symbols, some adjustments to uncover, and plenty of classic Money Train chaos when the setup lands your way. As always, it comes down to hitting the right symbols—and when it clicks, the outcomes can be truly jaw-dropping. Persistent symbols have already shown how powerful they can be, and being able to buy one at the start of a bonus round is a very tempting option. It isn’t cheap, but it’s hard to ignore. The payout potential is equally eye-catching, with Relax Gaming pushing the ceiling to 100,000x the bet. What makes that figure especially compelling is that Relax Gaming’s stated potential tends to be the real deal, as the Bigwinboard Youtube channel has demonstrated many times.
Even though Money Train 2 has an ironclad reputation for producing some of the wildest win clips around, Money Train 3 turns the dial further. It takes the tension, the highs and lows, the frustration, the hope, and the intense, edge-of-your-seat energy of the earlier games, cranks it up hard, doubles the potential, and launches it into the future—resulting in Money Train 3, a slot with the tools to seriously shake up the online gambling scene.
