Money Cart 4: Slot Overview
Make room, everyone—Money Cart 4 is rolling in on magnetic rails, serving up what’s essentially a Money Train 4-lite experience. That’s been the pattern across the last three Money Cart releases. Relax Gaming built this series with UK players in mind, since local rules stopped them from buying bonuses. As a result, Money Cart was created to deliver faster, more regular access to the franchise’s notorious bonus rounds. The trade-off? These formats take a hefty hit to win potential—but you can’t have it all. Compromises are part of the deal. Anyway, grab your pass—we’re hopping on board again.

This time, though, we’re ditching Money Train 4’s base-game setup entirely, landing in a Rogue One-style scenario where there are no scatter-paying wins and no base game respin mechanics. Instead, each spin drops either blanks, bonus scatter symbols, or special symbols onto the grid. When 3 or more symbols land, they activate the respin hold ‘n win feature. Gameplay runs on a 6-reel, 8-row grid, but the top 2 and the bottom 2 rows start off locked. Those rows can be unlocked during the respins bonus round. Money Cart 4 is a highly volatile slot with stakes from 10 c to $/€60 per paid round and an RTP of 96%.
Money Cart 4: Slot Features

When the feature activates by landing 3 symbols, players receive 3 respins. On entry, the triggering symbols display a numerical value. Any special symbols that set off the feature also reveal a value and carry out their effect before the first respin begins. Any new symbols that land during a respin become locked in place and resets the spin count back to 3. Whenever you fill a row with symbols, an extra row is opened, and this can occur a maximum of four times per round. The following symbols can appear:
- Bonus Symbols – reveal a value of 1 to 10 coins.
- Collector – collects all visible values and adds them to its own value.
- Persistent Collector – collects all visible values and adds them to its own value at the end of that spin and every following spin. It does not collect its own value.
- Adjacent Collector – collects all the values from the 8 adjacent positions and adds them to its own value.
- Persistent Adjacent Collector – collects all the values from the 8 adjacent positions and adds them to its own value on that spin and every following spin.
- Payer – reveals a value, then adds it to all other visible symbols on the reels.
- Persistent Payer – reveals a value, then adds it to all other visible symbols on that spin and every following spin. Does not pay itself.
- Adjacent Payer – reveals a value, then adds it to all adjacent symbols.
- Persistent Adjacent Payer – reveals a value, then adds it to all adjacent symbols on the spin and every following spin.
- Sniper – doubles the values of 3 to 8 other Bonus symbols. It can act on the same symbol more than once.
- Persistent Sniper – doubles the values of 3 to 8 other Bonus symbols on that spin and every following spin. It can act on the same symbol more than once.
- Collector-Payer – selects 3 to 5 symbols as targets, adds their values to its own and then pays out the updated value to each of those targets.
- Persistent Collector-Payer – at the end of each spin, it selects 3 to 5 symbols as targets, adds their values to its own and then pays out the updated value to each of its targets.
- Arms Dealer – converts 1 to 4 symbols into a feature symbol, then after the conversion, the new feature symbol performs its action.
- Persistent Arms Dealer – converts 1 symbol into a feature symbol at the end of the spin and every following spin. After the conversion, the new feature symbol performs its action.
- Necromancer – revives 2 to 7 already used non-persistent feature symbols. The same symbol can be targeted several times.
- Persistent Necromancer – revives 1 to 7 already used non-persistent feature symbols at the end of the spin and each following spin. The same symbol can be targeted several times.
- Persistent Shapeshifter – Turns into one of these features after every spin – Collector, Payer, Sniper, Collector Payer, Arms Dealer or Unlocker.
- Unlocker – unlocks a locked row.
- Reset Plus – increases the starting value of the spin count by 1.
- Upgrader – Upgrades 1 to 3 feature symbols to Persistent versions.
Every special symbol shows its value before it carries out its effect. If multiple special symbols trigger, they activate in order from the top row to the bottom row, and from left to right when they’re on the same row.

Money Cart 4: Slot Verdict
If you’ve found it tough to witness many of the special symbols in Money Train 4 really do their thing, Money Cart 4 could be worth a spin to help balance that out. In this toned-down take, the respin round lands far more frequently than usual, which means (in theory) a lot more time spent with those standout special symbols. And there are plenty of them to encounter. Some will feel familiar from earlier MT games, some have been tweaked, and others are completely new. One that deserves a mention is the Persistent Arms Dealer—if that gem shows up, there’s a chance things could turn in your favour. No promises, though. This ride can still get rough.
One key detail about Money Cart 4—still confusing (and frustrating) for many players—is that it uses a coin system. In practice, symbols show coin values rather than bet multipliers like in Money Train 4. Above the reels, the game indicates the value of 1 coin, which equals one-tenth of the bet. So, if you’re staking €1 per spin, then 1 coin is worth 0.1x the bet. That’s just to spell it out clearly for anyone who hasn’t played the earlier Money Cart titles. It also means the 150,000 coin max prize equals 15,000x the bet, not the jaw-dropping 150,000x seen in Money Train 4.
As with the earlier Money Cart releases, Money Cart 4 is effectively a ‘lite’ spin on the original. It’s a hectic game, and some players will prefer this approach because the respin round appears more often (without needing a buy) than in the mainline version, even with the reduced win potential. Money Cart 4 may be a cut-down variant, but it still packs plenty of action and offers a very entertaining way to watch those special symbols go to work.
