Lucky Lady Moon Megaways: Slot Overview
Lucky Lady Moon Megaways is a reworked version of an earlier BGaming slot titled Lucky Lady Moon, which itself seems to have drawn inspiration from Novomatic’s well-known Lucky Lady’s Charm. That means players can expect an Irish-leaning theme, fronted by a female character that gives the game a bit of personality. In terms of gameplay, this Megaways edition sticks closely to the original, with free spins and a win multiplier as the headline feature. Still, Megaways adds a couple of extra touches, and there are optional wagering options for those who want them. Here’s what’s changed and what hasn’t.
Megaways may be a newer mechanic, but Lucky Lady Moon Megaways looks decidedly old-school. The game grid sits over chunky, mostly white reels, backed by an unusual pink, glittery backdrop that’s largely the same as before. Visually and thematically, there isn’t a great deal to unpack. The familiar 6+1 Megaways panel dominates the screen, leaving little space for extra atmosphere. If you enjoyed the original presentation, the Megaways remake should feel comfortable; if you didn’t, Lucky Lady Moon Megaways is unlikely to change your mind.

On the stats side, Lucky Lady Moon Megaways looks fairly appealing, offering a notable return to player of 96.75% (at least on the default setting). BGaming rates the volatility as ‘very high’, so expect swings, even if the theoretical upside is lower than before on paper. In practice, the 6,000x max win limit feels more believable, although it’s on the modest side for a Megaways title. There are multiple ways to play, from standard spins priced at 10 p/c to $/€35 per spin through to the Buy Chance and bonus buy options.
Using a bigger-than-average layout, Lucky Lady Moon Megaways features 6 main reels with up to 7 symbols on each, plus a 4-symbol row that spins horizontally above reels 2-5. Each spin lands a variable reel setup, creating between 324 to 200,704 ways to win. Wins are made by matching symbols on adjacent reels starting from the far left, and there are 11 standard pay symbols. The lower-value symbols are 9-A card ranks, paying 0.5-0.8x the bet for six of a kind, while the top symbols are four-leafed clovers, horseshoes, coins, diamonds, and ladybirds, paying 1-10x the bet for six of a kind. The Lucky Lady herself appears as the x2 wild symbol. She can land on reels 2-6 and boosts any win she helps form by x2.
Lucky Lady Moon Megaways: Slot Features

The reel set-up may be larger, but Lucky Lady Moon Megaways keeps its feature set largely intact. Cascading wins are now included, along with a Buy Chance and, potentially, a Buy Bonus option, yet the core draw is still free spins paired with a win multiplier.
Cascades
Whenever a winning way lands, the winning symbols are removed, and the empty spaces are filled as new symbols drop in from above. If the new arrangement creates another win after the cascade, the process repeats.
Free Spins
The bonus round is triggered when at least 3 scatter symbols appear on the reels. There’s also an extra payout of 5, 10, 20, or 50 times the stake for landing 3, 4, 5, or 6 scatters. The feature starts with a spin of the Wheel of Fortune, which awards 5-15 free spins and a win multiplier of x2-x25. The bonus can be retrigged if 3 or more scatter symbols land during free spins.
Buy Chance/Buy Bonus
When available, players can use the Buy Chance button. This increases the bet by 50% and doubles the chance of triggering free spins. Alternatively, for 90x the bet, eligible players can purchase direct entry into the bonus round.

Lucky Lady Moon Megaways: Slot Verdict
BGaming still hasn’t truly made a major splash with its Megaways catalogue, and Lucky Lady Moon Megaways doesn’t feel like the title that will change that. While it borrows heavily from Pragmatic Play’s Madame Destiny Megaways, it does carry a certain old-fashioned charm. That said, it’s easy to suspect that if the original didn’t click for you, this remake loses much of its impact. It stays very close to its predecessor, which should suit players who wanted the studio to keep the formula largely intact. Ultimately, the aim is to connect with those Lucky Lady x2 wilds to lift payouts, while hoping to unlock the free spins bonus.
To be fair, the bonus round—and the game overall—does bring a little more to the table. For example, the free spins win multiplier can climb far higher than it did previously, since x3 was roughly the ceiling in the non-Megaways Lucky Lady Moon. Cascades are also part of the package now, which can lead to multiple winning ways from a single paid spin. Put together, you might assume Lucky Lady Moon Megaways would offer bigger potential than before, yet the reverse is true. Where Lucky Lady Moon advertised a 27,000x the bet top win (a figure that always seemed doubtful), Lucky Lady Moon Megaways tops out at ‘just’ 6,000x. It’s certainly more plausible, but it places Lucky Lady Moon Megaways toward the lower end of Megaways slots. The 6,000x cap also feels slightly at odds with how large the free spins multiplier can theoretically become.
So, as a way for fans to revisit what Lucky Lady Moon offered, this redo may be worth trying for a few spins. It preserves much of the original experience while expanding it across a larger, more flexible Megaways reel set. Even so, it can feel outmatched by plenty of rivals, and if you never saw the appeal of the earlier slot (or haven’t played it), it’s difficult to imagine Lucky Lady Moon Megaways bringing in a wave of new fans.
