Loot Boost: Slot Overview
One thing is pretty apparent: Games Global partner Slingshot Studios has a real fondness for Link&Win slots, particularly the Link&Win style built around the template established by Game of Thrones Power Stacks. Loot Boost isn’t a straight reskin of GOT PS this time, yet it’s still a game where the Link&Win feature provides most of the excitement. To help that core mechanic along, Slingshot Studios has added Max Mode, which, when reached, expands the play area during the Link&Win round after it’s triggered.
Loot Boost takes place in a soft, laid-back setting that’s not far removed from something like Pile’ Em Up by Snowborn Games. A mellow, soothing soundtrack drifts along over a tranquil outdoor scene of shimmering blue water, quick-moving clouds, and tiny bits of greenery. If you prefer slots that hammer the senses like a crazed jackhammer, theme-wise, Loot Boost won’t be your pick. But if you’re looking for something that can nudge you into a calm, almost lullaby-like headspace, Loot Boost could fit the bill.

Loot Boost runs on a 5-reel, 4-row layout and uses 40 paylines to calculate wins. Bets range from 20 p/c to $/€50 per spin, and there are three bonus buys available via the feature buy menu. The game comes with three RTP setups, with the standard setting at 96.05%, and the underlying math is set to medium volatile.
The pay symbols match the airy vibe, featuring clubs, diamonds, hearts, spades, cherries, limes, plums, grapes, watermelons, and stars. Land a 5 OAK win and you’ll get 2 to 2.5 times the bet for the card suits, or 4 to 5 times the bet for the other icons. The top-paying symbol is the wild, which can appear on every reel. Five wilds across a payline return 10x the bet, and wilds substitute for any regular pay symbol.
Loot Boost: Slot Features

Loot Boost packs in Power Stacks, the Ultra Link&Win, the Ultra Link&Win feature in Max Mode, Ultra Link&Win Booster Coins, Prize Coins, Cash Coins, Free Spins, plus a buy feature.
Power Stacks
On any spin, symbols can be randomly Power Stacked on a spin. After that, the Power Staked symbols are added to all reels. In the base game, every symbol except scatters and wilds may be Power Stacked, while in free spins only wild or coin symbols are eligible for Power Stacking.
Ultra Link&Win Feature
Get 6 or more Coin symbols to activate this feature – you receive 3 free respins with the triggering Coins held in place. Every other position respin. Any new Cains that appear are locked as well, and the respin counter returns to 3. The feature ends when no additional Coins land or once the reels are full. At that point, all Cash Coins or Prize Coins are awarded. This feature is available from both the base game and free spins.
Ultra Link&Win Feature in Max Mode
In the base game, landing 4 or 5 Coins grows the Max Mode Ultra Link&Win meter. If you trigger Ultra Link&Win with the meter filled, it runs in Max Mode. While active, 3 additional active rows are added to the grid. In addition, entering free spins with a full meter means all instances of the Ultra Link&Win trigger in Max Mode.
Ultra Link&Win Booster Coins
Ultra Link&Win Booster coins can appear and enhance the Ultra Link&Win round:
- 2x Multiplier Booster Coin – randomly doubles up to 4 Cash Coins.
- Unlock Booster Coin – 1 Unlock Booster Coin activates 1 additional row. Up to 3 additional rows can be activated.
- Extra Chance Booster Coin – landing up to 3 Extra Chance Booster Coins extends the Ultra Link&Win feature. 1 Extra Chance Booster Coin awards 1 free respin.
Prize Coins and Cash Coins
Prize Coins come as the Mini, Minor, Major, and Grand Coins, paying 40x, 100x, 500x, or 1,000x the bet, respectively. Cash Coins can land with values of 1 to 12 times the bet.
Free Spins
Land 3 scatter symbols to award 10 free spins. During the free spins round, Wilds or Coin symbols are Power Stacked on each free spin.
Buy Feature
Using the feature buy menu, players can purchase free spins for 45x the bet, Ultra Link&Win for 45x the bet, or Max Mode Ultra Link&Win for 80 times the bet.

Loot Boost: Slot Verdict
In some respects, you can’t help but feel a bit sorry for Loot Boost. The main reason is that we reviewed the monster that is Money Train 4 around the same period, so it took a moment (and a mental gear change) to settle into judging Slingshot Studios’ release. Fair is fair, though: the two titles sit at totally different ends of the hold’ n win spectrum. Where Money Train 4 is a top-tier release that leaves a lasting mark on the gambling mind, Loot Boost feels far more disposable in comparison.
That said, not everyone is looking to hang onto a runaway freight train by one hand while their grip slips finger by finger as it rockets down a near-vertical track. If you want the complete opposite—something softer and more relaxed—Loot Boost may be the better choice. The presentation is so light it’s almost weightless, and much of the gameplay leans on familiar Slingshot Studios staples – Power Stacks, Link&Win, and free spins. The “new” element, if you want to label it that way, is Max Mode, though it essentially just adds extra rows, so it’s not exactly groundbreaking. The max win isn’t especially startling either, topping out at 4,000x the bet.
Overall, Loot Boost is a pleasantly packaged slot that doesn’t stray far from what Slingshot Studios has already done. Still, for players who’d rather avoid the toughest hold ‘n wins out there, its mellow, almost bedtime-like vibe could be just the ticket.
