Jurassic World Raptor Riches: Slot Overview
Considering the never-ending catastrophes on Isla Nublar, the infamous backdrop to the Jurassic Park franchise, it’s hard to understand why anyone keeps heading back there. As if a rampaging T-Rex in Jurassic Park wasn’t enough, we’ve since seen Velociraptors, Indominus Rex, Spinosaurus, a live volcano, endless villains, and conspiracies that threaten the planet’s natural balance. It’s into this perilous territory that Microgaming partner Fortune Factory Studios ventures with Jurassic World Raptor Riches. Here, the top threat is the Indoraptor, engineered by Dr Wu by blending Velociraptor and Indominus Rex DNA. The Indoraptor shows up as full-reel walking wilds, backed by five jackpots, a Multiplier Trail, and free spins.
With stakes from 10 p/c to $/€50 per spin, the gameplay unfolds at the towering gates of the notorious Jurassic World facility—somewhere you’d probably hesitate before stepping inside. Most of the display is taken up by the game’s 5×3, 20-payline reels, while the Jackpot Wheel/Free Spin wheel is also clearly visible on the left. Movie fans should enjoy the scenery and the heavy use of character symbols across the reels. Jurassic World Raptor Riches lacks the same grim, hazardous atmosphere of the classic Jurassic Park slot, and that impression carries over into other parts of the experience too.
As is often the case now, the RTP is variable, with the top default setting at 96.0%, or 96.1% when WinBooster is switched on. The game uses a highly volatile math model, although the maximum win is relatively modest at 2,500x. For players who prefer frequent smaller hits to keep things moving, Jurassic World Raptor Riches offers a hit rate of 44.45%.
Because this is a branded title, recognizable characters dominate the paytable, with premium symbols including Dr Wu, Ian Malcolm, Claire Dearing, and Owen Grady. These top symbols pay 10-20 times the bet for 5-of-a-kind combinations. The other six symbols consist of three low-value dino tokens, plus three dino picture symbols as the mid-tier pays. Wilds come in two varieties. The first is a 1×1 wild eye symbol that can land on any reel and pays up to 20x the bet for five of a kind. The second is the Indoraptor wild, which pays the same and is explained in the features section below. Both wild types substitute for any standard paying symbol to help form a winning line.
Jurassic World Raptor Riches: Slot Features

Jurassic World Raptor Riches leans on a familiar selection of Microgaming-style mechanics. Alongside an ante bet WinBooster, there’s a respin feature, Multiplier Trail, a Jackpot Wheel, and free spins.
The WinBooster is an optional add-on available in the base game. Turning it on increases the bet by 1.5x and also boosts the Multiplier Trail values that apply during the respin feature. While WinBooster doesn’t change symbol payouts, it does influence the jackpot amounts.
Watch for the Indoraptor symbol—a 1×3 sized wild symbol that can occupy any positions on a reel. If it lands so that it covers a full reel, the respins feature begins. With each respin, the Indoraptor wild stack moves one reel to the left. Respins keep going until the final Indoraptor wild stack exits the reels.
Respins tie directly into the Multiplier Trail, which climbs with every additional respin. With WinBooster inactive, the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th respin applies multipliers of x1, x2, x3, x4, and x5. When the WinBooster is engaged, this increases to x1, x2, x3, x5, and x10.
Recall the mosquito trapped in amber that provided the scientists in the first Jurassic Park film with dinosaur DNA. In Jurassic World Raptor Riches, it serves as the jackpot trigger symbol. Whenever these symbols appear as overlays on regular symbols, there’s a chance the Jackpot Wheel will activate. If it triggers, players spin the wheel once to collect 1 of 5 guaranteed jackpots. The jackpots are the Mini, Minor, Major, Mega, or Apex, paying 15x, 25x, 100x, 500x, or 2,500x the bet. Note that this is based on the total bet, meaning if WinBooster is enabled, the jackpot payout will be larger than it would be without it.
The final feature is free spins, activated when 3 volcano scatter symbols land on reels 1, 3, and 5. A wheel then spins to award 8 – 20 free spins. In free spins, any partially landed Indoraptor wild stacks nudge to fill a reel, which triggers the respins feature. In addition, the multiplier trail increases during free spins to x1, x2, x3, x5, or x10 with WinBooster off, or x1, x3, x5, x10, or x20 if WinBooster is on.
Jurassic World Raptor Riches: Slot Verdict
It’s fair to ask why Fortune Factory would release a branded slot tied to a film from several years back when a Jurassic World game already exists. Sure, this one is more aligned with Fallen Kingdom, but it’s difficult to ignore the sense that it was produced largely so Microgaming could extract a little more value from the movie licence. A couple of things feed that perception. For one, it doesn’t improve dramatically on the earlier title and is completely overshadowed by the original Jurassic Park slot—much like the film series itself. The budgets may have grown and the CGI may have advanced, yet none of the later movies delivers the same impact as the first Jurassic Park, even though they earned far more at the box office.
On the plus side, having access to a set of established mechanics arguably makes Jurassic World Raptor Riches Fortune Factory’s most refined release so far—unless you’re utterly obsessed with the Village People. It’s not only the feature set that feels smoother; visually, it’s also more attractive than many of their other games. Then again, Fortune Factory could lean on film-quality graphics and characters rather than inventing everything from scratch.
To be fair, Fortune Factory has adjusted the usual Microgaming extras so they behave a little differently, with the walking wild and Multiplier Trail pairing being the key highlight in both the base game and the bonus. Still, don’t go in expecting huge returns from Jurassic World Raptor Riches, since the biggest possible payout is the 2,500x prize from the Jackpot Wheel.
Dinosaur-themed slots are clearly on the rise at the moment. Players who want a more high-risk flirt with fate may find better options in games like Dinopolis or Raptor DoubleMax. As a more entertainment-led experience, Jurassic World Raptor Riches feels closer to a Universal Studios theme park attraction than a do-or-die dash through the jungle with Indoraptors snapping at your heels.
