Jade of the Jungle: Slot Overview
Developer Stakelogic, together with independent partners Jelly, is responsible for the Central America-inspired slot Jade of the Jungle. This setting is a familiar choice for slot creators, so a title needs a twist to have a real shot at standing out. Here, Jade of the Jungle’s hook is the inclusion of two independently spinning game grids rather than a single set of reels. The idea is becoming more common, but it’s still not something you see every day—so is this enough to help the game separate itself from the crowd? There’s only one way to find out.
At the heart of Jade of the Jungle sit two 3×3 game panels, divided by a swirling stone statue. Around them are trees, vines, shrubs, and a step pyramid in the distance, making the location instantly recognisable. Visually, Jade of the Jungle is polished and easy on the eye without being especially memorable. The audio is similarly mellow: gentle panpipes while things are idle, then a steady drum rhythm joins in once the reels start spinning.
Both reel sets in Jade of the Jungle use 7 fixed paylines for forming winning combinations of matching symbols. The game is rated medium-high volatile and comes with a theoretical RTP of 95.30%, which is decent on paper, though it doesn’t add much when the rest feels fairly standard. Note that the RTP is also available in lower versions, dropping as far as 88.06% in certain markets. Standard bets run from 25 p/c to $/€125 per spin, or can be doubled by selecting the Super Stake bet option. Turning on Super Stake unlocks a feature that isn’t available in regular play.
As for the symbols, the paytable moves from four Aztec-style icons at the low end up to a serpent, a bird, two faces, and a glittering jade piece—where the top three symbols pay 4 to 10 times the stake. Rounding things off is the wild, which can land anywhere and substitutes for all symbols except the scatter.
Jade of the Jungle: Slot Features

There are two main features to discuss: one tied to the paid Super Stake option, and the other being a free spins round that uses a symbol removal mechanic.
Super Stake Feature
With Super Stake on, there’s a possibility that an extra feature randomly appears. When it activates, a regular paying symbol is chosen. Every other symbol, aside from wilds and the selected symbol, is removed from the reels. Players then receive 1 spin with extra chosen symbols and wilds added onto the reels. For clarity, the RTP is identical whether Super Stake is enabled or not.
Free Spins
Scatters can land on reels 1 or 3 on both reel sets. Hitting 3 or 4 scatter symbols across one or both sets awards 8 or 12 free spins, respectively. In the free spins round, each time a scatter lands, the lowest paying symbol is removed from the reels for the rest of the feature, and players gain +1 or +2 extra free spins. The aim is straightforward: remove as many symbols as possible until only the highest-value ones remain.
Jade of the Jungle: Slot Verdict
Many slot studios constantly chase fresh ideas to keep players engaged. Sometimes a new approach clicks and becomes a standout success; other times it’s a modest diversion; and occasionally it falls flat and disappears without a trace. Jade of the Jungle sits in that middle zone, edging a little too close to the “forgettable” side. The six-reel concept sparked some initial curiosity, and the Super Stake feature plus the symbol-removal free spins gave the game an encouraging start.
That curiosity fades once it becomes clear that Jade of the Jungle is essentially two 3×3 slots running side by side. There’s also very limited interaction between the two panels, which is unexpected—though not strictly necessary for a multi-grid setup. If you were hoping for linked reels or symbol transfers, you won’t find them here. The bonus doesn’t merge into a single 6-reel layout either, which was our first assumption before reading the rules. Instead, it’s simply two reel sets spinning next to each other. Is it two games for the price of one? Sort of, but not quite, since the RTP is slightly below what you often see and you won’t always land wins on both sets at the same time. The dual-reel approach may appeal to players who like a longer spin sequence, though that may be stretching the point. One bright spot was when the Super Stake feature landed, as wins tended to connect across both grids and sometimes paid better than what we managed to pull from free spins.
Interestingly, the Jade of the Jungle home screen promoted a bonus game featuring five win spins in the style of Pimped, with a x5 multiplier boosting payouts. However, Jelly or Stakelogic appear to have changed direction during development and opted for the symbol upgrade system instead. The free spins mechanic does its job once you’ve eliminated plenty of low payers—just don’t expect Jade of the Jungle to suddenly explode, since the maximum win is 2,976x your bet.
Overall, Jade of the Jungle is fine for a short session—a brief return trip to Central America and all that. Still, there’s little here that truly raises the pulse. Even with two grids spinning at once, it doesn’t deliver a meaningful advantage over a single set, leaving more of a gimmicky “notice me” feel than anything else.
