Inferno Joker (Play’n GO): Overview
If you ever get the urge for that old-school, stylish 3-reel slot vibe, Play’n GO is a solid studio to check out. Over time, the Swedish developer has released plenty of games in this lane, including titles such as Mystery Joker, Mystery Joker 6000, Sweet 27, Big Win Cat, and Hugo Goal. The best-known of the bunch, though, is Fire Joker—a blazing slot that gained a lot of its popularity through the casino streaming scene, having been featured by some of the biggest Twitch names. And honestly, it’s impressively entertaining for a game with only 3 reels, no free spins, and a top win capped at just 800x.
Inferno Joker is essentially the 5-reel counterpart to Fire Joker. Like its predecessor, it includes a re-spin feature, but here you can potentially land much bigger payouts. Built on a 5×3, 5-payline setup, the game is available on all devices and can be played from as little as 0.05 up to €/$100 per spin, making it a fit for both low-rollers and high-rollers.
In terms of visuals, Inferno Joker keeps things straightforward yet nicely finished. When we first saw it, an early build of Inferno Joker felt a bit flat. Fortunately, it has since been upgraded with extra texture and polish to add more energy and shine. It won’t be the most breathtaking slot you’ll encounter, but that simplicity is intentional when aiming for a classic fruit-slot feel. Set against a purple gradient background, the reels show cherries, plums, watermelons, stacks of gold bars, and lucky sevens. The purple joker is the highest-paying symbol, awarding 100 times your stake for five across a full payline.
Inferno Joker (Play’n GO): Features

Since there’s no wild to help you out, the entire feature set revolves around the inferno scatter symbol. When a single inferno scatter lands on the middle reel, the Re-Spin feature is triggered. At that point, every reel showing a joker symbol—middle reel included—locks in place while the remaining reels spin again. On top of that, all standard jokers are converted into inferno scatters.
If extra joker symbols land during the re-spin, they also stick where they are and another re-spin is awarded. This loop continues until no additional jokers appear on the screen, or you manage to fill the entire display with inferno scatters—then you collect the maximum payout of 2500 times your stake.
Inferno Joker (Play’n GO): Verdict
It’s worth noting that despite the clean, uncomplicated look, Inferno Joker is a very high-volatility slot. That means plenty of risk, while the top prize is still only about half of what you’ll find in some other high variance Play’n GO titles. That said, you’re far more likely to land a full screen of inferno jokers here than you are to hit a full screen of explorer symbols in Book of Dead.
Even though fruit slots aren’t really our personal favorite, they’re clearly popular right now—King Spin Deluxe, Burn ‘Em Up, Win Win, and Mega Rise are just a handful we’ve covered recently. Still, we have to admit that Inferno Joker stands out as one of the stronger entries. It plays quickly, runs smoothly, looks sharp, and offers better upside than most fruit slots. As with many recent Play’n GO releases, Inferno Joker is likely to be a hit.
