Anyone devoted to the original is bound to arrive with massive expectations. After all, why make a follow-up unless it improves on what came before in at least some ways? Slots have their own examples too, with Money Train 2 being an obvious one. Relax Gaming expanded that series with real impact, and Stormcraft Studios brings a measure of that same energy here—but is it enough? Can Immortal Romance 2 win over the cynics, the critics, and the loyal fans while also drawing new players into the Immortal Romance universe?

To start with the positives: Stormcraft Studio has clearly put serious work into Immortal Romance 2, and that deserves recognition. There are added touches like Bloodline Gamification to tailor the experience, and the audio selection is both varied and high quality. The visuals are strong too, although seeing the four characters presented as more mature is… notable—maybe “confusing” is the better term. Aren’t vampires supposed to stay the same age and look unchanged? Wasn’t Edward Cullen 100+ years old, pretending to be a school kid, and simping over a 17-year-old girl? Still, artistic licence is what it is. As in the original, each character connects to their own bonus round, which works well, though tying each character to a jackpot is a more polarising choice. Jackpot mechanics are extremely common across Game Global studios, so some players will naturally be drawn to them. Others, however, might have preferred that slice of RTP to be used elsewhere.

Perhaps funnelled further into the Wild Desire feature? That said, Wild Desire now comes with a climbing multiplier, which is a compelling addition.
