Is it a bird, is it a plane? Nope, it’s Immortal 5—a superhero-themed slot born from yet another team-up between developer Relax Gaming and casino influencers CasinoDaddy. It’s the third collaboration between the pair, after Sloth Tumble and Epic Dreams, two games centred on a drowsy sloth called Chip. This time, Chip steps aside and 5 in-house heroes take over to “save the day”… or at least pose dramatically in very tight outfits.
Immortal 5 shows off in the downtown streets of a present-day Metropolis/Gotham/New York-style city. It’s “modern,” but with a definite sci-fi edge too—like these heroes were engineered through genetic tinkering that’s normal in this era, rather than created by a radioactive spider bite or a crash landing from another world. Visually, it holds up well. The characters may not have the weight of Marvel or DC icons, but they’re beefy enough and look capable of handling business.

Card suits and costumed heroes fill Immortal 5’s play area. The game uses 5 reels and 15 paylines to calculate wins. Players can (mentally) swap everyday clothes for spandex by choosing a stake of 10 c to $/€100 before diving into this highly volatile slot, which comes with a default RTP of 96.1%. Immortal 5 also includes two Hero Bets—details are coming up below.
Spades, clubs, diamonds, and heart symbols return 1x the bet for a 5 OAK line. Above them sit 5 superhero symbols, paying 3 to 20 times the bet for 5-of-a-kind. Both wild types in Immortal 5 substitute for all regular paying symbols and award 20x for a line of 5. Expanding Hero Wilds can land on any reel. They expand to fill the reel and carry a multiplier of x2 to x100. If multiple Expanding Hero Wild multipliers are part of the same win, their values are added together.
Immortal 5: Slot Features

Beyond the core setup already mentioned, Immortal 5 features Immortal Respins, an Immortal 5 Wild feature, a 2-mode Silver Bonus Game, a 2-mode Gold Bonus Game, Hero Bets, and feature buys.
Immortal Respins Feature
Hitting one or more Immortal wild symbols on a standard spin starts the Immortal Respin feature. The Immortal Wilds that trigger it are locked in position until the feature finishes. Any additional Immortal Wilds that land during a respin also lock in place and award another respin. Wins are checked after every respin. If a respin lands no new Immortal Wild, the respins stop.
Immortal 5 Wild Feature
The Immortal 5 Wild feature triggers at random at the beginning of any base game spin. From 1 and 5 reels are randomly highlighted. Each selected reel receives a Hero Wild that expands to cover the entire reel. This can happen up to 5 times, potentially turning every reel into a Hero Wild reel. Once the transformation ends, the reels that are not Hero Wilds spin, and then the game evaluates the result.
Immortal Silver Bonus Game
Silver Bonus scatters can appear on reels 3, 4, and 5. Landing 3 Silver Bonus scatter symbols triggers the Immortal Silver Bonus. When it begins, players pick from one of two bonus modes:
- Hero Mode 1 – begins with 6 free spins and includes a progressive multiplier that affects all wins. The multiplier starts at x1 and rises whenever a multiplier symbol lands. Landing the expanding Hero Wild symbol also increases the multiplier.
- Hero Mode 2 – begins with 6 free spins. Every symbol position has its own multiplier, which doubles each spin when that position contributes to a win. When an expanding Hero Wild appears, it expands and gathers the multiplier values on that reel, with the combined total becoming the Hero Wild reel’s multiplier. The collected multiplier is frozen and stops doubling when it is used in a win.
In both Hero Modes, any expanding Hero Wilds that land stay in their expanded state for the rest of the free spins. Also, neither mode can be retriggered. Both bonus rounds include extra Power-Ups layered onto the standard mechanics. Before the bonus starts, players receive 2 mystery picks. The same Power-Up can be selected twice, which doubles that Power-Up’s benefit:
- Extra Free Spins – +3 free spins are awarded.
- Multiplier Boost – In Hero Mode 1, it raises the starting multiplier. In Hero Mode 2, one position per reel begins with an increased multiplier.
- Additional Hero Wilds – Adds extra expanding Hero Wilds to the reels.

Immortal Gold Bonus Game
Landing 3 Golden Bonus scatters triggers the Immortal Gold Bonus. When activated, it awards 6 free spins plus 3 mystery Power-Up picks. Two picks work the same way as in the Immortal Silver Bonus; 1 pick is a Super Power-Up. Players can again select either Hero Mode 1 or Hero Mode 2. The Super Power-Ups are:
- Immortal Transfer – One medium pay symbol is randomly chosen and will be converted into a standard wild whenever it lands on the reels.
- Starting Hero Wild Reel – One reel is randomly selected and turned into a Hero Wild reel.
- 6 Extra Free Spins.
Hero Bet & Feature Buy
At 1.5x the bet per spin, players get a greater chance to land scatters for the Immortal Silver and the Immortal Gold Bonus games. At 5x the bet per spin, there is a greater chance of triggering the Immortal Gold Bonus (only Gold scatters can appear), but the Immortal Wild feature is not available in this mode. Both Hero Bets also raise the chance of landing expanding Hero Wilds. In the feature buy menu, players can purchase a bonus trigger for 100x the bet—either the Silver or the Gold Bonus. Alternatively, they can pay 500x the bet for a Hero Spin. The Hero spin has 2 possible outcomes: win nothing, or hit the game’s 10,000x maximum payout.

Immortal 5: Slot Verdict
Putting the controversy linked to CasinoDaddy to one side for a moment, this third outing with Relax Gaming isn’t a disaster, and it does offer a reasonably broad set of features to dig into. While Relax Gaming hasn’t exactly dazzled in 2024, the studio still understands how to build solid, dependable slots—and Immortal 5 can arguably be placed in that category. Superhero slots can be very hit-or-miss because the leads are often original, unbranded characters. Immortal 5 is affected by that somewhat, though not to the point where it’s an automatic skip. The bigger reason it may be avoided is the involvement of certain names behind the project—assuming potential players know the backstory.
Several parts of Immortal 5’s design should appeal, particularly to players who enjoy stacking multipliers and full-reel wilds, sometimes simultaneously. Immortal Respins add some extra texture to the base game, even if they didn’t seem to trigger often, and the two selectable Hero Modes give you a decision to wrestle with. One notable number is the big gap between the 100,000x win potential of Sloth Tumble and Immortal 5’s 10,000x ceiling. Another standout is the truly all-or-nothing 500x Hero Spin. It’s also clear the team has taken heavy inspiration from Nolimit City across the board—from the name to the look and the feature set. For instance, the title. Infectious 5, Immortal 5, coincidence? Or did the glamorous Swedish influencer trio simply “forget” who they were partnering with.
Either way, we’ll leave that judgment to players while we watch how Immortal 5 lands overall. Will it be a win for anonymous superheroes, or will it end up as a radioactive mess that nobody wants to go near? Or will the response be something more ordinary, sitting somewhere between those two extremes?
