With Happy Bamboo, Push Gaming takes one of its heavy-hitting titles and reshapes it through a more classic(ish) filter. Overall, the idea lands well, and it’s easy to see how this blend of retro structure and modern touches could appeal to the players it’s targeting. Happy Bamboo is far from a plain fruit-machine clone, yet the more traditional approach could help the Bamboo brand reach a fresh audience who may find this format easier to get into. That said, it may not hit quite the same highs as its larger relatives.
