Gods Gone Wild: Slot Overview
Gods Gone Wild is an online slot from developer AvatarUX, and it’s not about gods raining down thunder on mortals or unleashing apocalyptic natural disasters. Here, the concept is more about divine characters taking a breather and indulging in a bit of personal downtime. Alongside a light party theme (which isn’t pushed particularly hard), Gods Gone Wild is a scatter pays slot that serves up cascades, Expanding Wilds, Multiplier Kegs, free spins with a progressive Party Time feature, plus bonus buys.
If the gods in Gods Gone Wild are meant to be going all-out, you wouldn’t necessarily guess it from either the base game or the bonus round. The setting is actually fairly serene and chilled, with steps leading to the game grid, framed by two lightning-bolt statues. The soundtrack is mellow and the scene feels airy—maybe it’s the quiet before a huge divine tantrum kicks off. Free spins keep a very similar feel too, with a bluish tint over the background being the main audiovisual change between the two stages.

Gods Gone Wild is a highly volatile slot, letting players stake 10 c to £/€100 per paid spin. There’s an optional ante bet that increases the wager by 50% when enabled, giving 1.5x the chance to reach free spins. The default RTP is 96.063%, and each spin drops 30 symbols onto a 6-reel, 5-row grid.
The paytable is made up of J-A card ranks as the lower-value symbols, plus 5 character symbols at the top end. Wilds replace all reel symbols except scatters. Since it’s a scatter pays slot, wins land when at least 8 matching symbols appear anywhere on the grid. Winning symbols then disappear, with remaining symbols falling down and new ones dropping in from above. Cascades continue until no further win is formed.
Gods Gone Wild: Slot Features

Gods Gone Wild includes Expanding Wilds, free spins featuring Multiplier Kegs, Party Time progression, and Xpress bonus buys.
Expanding Wilds & Multiplier Kegs
Randomly, a wild feature can activate. Each wild comes with its own multiplier worth x2 to x10 and shows up as a 2-3 symbol stack. Multiplier Kegs, on the other hand, can land at random during spins and cascades in the bonus round only, holding multiplier values of x2 to x100. These are applied to the overall win once the last cascade has finished.
Free Spins
Landing 4 or more scatter symbols starts the free spins feature. In free spins, every win fills the progression bar by +1 position. Party Time then kicks in after 10 wins (and awards +3 free spins at the same time), bringing higher chances of landing Expanding Wilds and making the Multiplier Kegs are semi-sticky.
Xpress
From the Xpress screen, players can purchase 10 free spins for 60x, 12 free spins for 120x, or 15 free spins for 400x the bet.

Gods Gone Wild: Slot Verdict
Picture a godly party with unlimited money, no closing time, and nobody ever getting tired—pretty much anything could happen. It’s a fun premise, which makes it a bit disappointing that AvatarUX didn’t lean harder into it in Gods Gone Wild, as the “party” energy isn’t especially strong. Instead, the tone feels unexpectedly controlled, even subdued, and a touch more celebration wouldn’t have hurt. Still, everyone unwinds differently, from marathon-long bacchanals that would make Keith Richards raise an eyebrow, to simply reading on the sofa with a cat purring away on their lap. Maybe deities aren’t any different?
Gameplay-wise, Gods Gone Wild gives off a faint Sweet Bonanza vibe. Scatter pays combined with cascades and multiplier symbols in free spins is a proven formula, after all. It doesn’t mirror the same progression style as scatter pays mega-hit Gates of Olympus with its persistent global multiplier, but it does bring in the progressive Party Time mechanic. Building enough wins to actually reach Party Time wasn’t straightforward, though the number of Multiplier Kegs did seem to increase when Party Time was running, along with the benefit of their sticky upgrade.
The max win in Gods Gone Wild is limited to 10,000 times the bet, so outcomes can still get seriously wild. It wouldn’t have been a bad move if the game had been a little bolder and more unrestrained in its presentation, but aside from that, it’s a solid Gates of Olympus and Sweet Bonanza alternative with a tweaked set of features to try out.
