Firewins Factory: Slot Overview
Here’s a thought: what could be better for a profit-hungry industrialist than owning a factory and getting wealthy off the blood, sweat, and effort of the workforce? Simple—swap the workers for minion-like helpers who do the same job for nothing, so even more cash ends up in the boss’s pocket. That is, of course, unless those workers have a habit of blowing things up. In Relax Gaming’s online slot Firewins Factory, the more explosions you get, the better, because they trigger spreading wilds and can also build a potentially valuable win multiplier.
The setting in Firewins Factory is a brick-and-tile plant that looks like it’s been running since the 19th century. As hinted, the human staff have been shown the door and replaced by little creatures in all sorts of shapes and colours. Think Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory packed with Oompa Loompas, or Gru’s crew of banana-obsessed Minions, and you’ll be pretty close to the vibe Firewins Factory is going for.

Sitting on the factory floor is a 6×6 gaming grid that runs on a connected ways system for forming wins. Winning combinations must start on the leftmost reel and require matching symbols across at least 3 adjacent reels, linked either horizontally or diagonally—something seen previously in Relax Gaming’s Mega Heist and Wild Yield. In this game, there are 950 ways to win in a highly volatile slot with an RTP of 96.19%. Bet sizes are a little out of the ordinary, ranging from $/€0.10 to $/€50 per spin.
Any symbols that form a winning combination are removed from the grid. The gaps are then filled as new symbols drop down, and the cascades keep going until no further wins land. The low-paying symbols in Firewins Factory are diamonds, clubs, spades, and hearts, each paying 0.4x the bet for a 6 OAK result. The higher pays come from 4 worker characters plus a curly-moustached capitalist, paying 0.5 to 1 times the bet for a 6-of-a-kind connected way. There are no fewer than 6 types of wild symbols in Firewins Factory—5 explosive versions and 1 standard wild. Wilds pay 1x the bet for 6 OAK and also substitute for any regular pay symbol.
Firewins Factory: Slot Features

In Firewins Factory, the main agenda is making things go boom, achieved through several types of Explosive Wilds. Backing up the blasts are cascading wins, a climbing win multiplier that carries over during the free spins round, a second chance mechanic, and two feature buys.
Explosive Wilds
Whenever an Explosive Wild is part of a winning combination, it spreads wilds onto other symbols. There are 5 types of Explosive Wilds, each sending wilds in different directions to different areas of the grid. From time to time, a super explosion can happen, causing the wild spread to reach further. Each time an Explosive Wild contributes to a win, the multiplier increases by +1. In the base game, the multiplier then resets for the following spin.
- Cross Wild – spreads wilds to the symbols above, below, left, and right of itself.
- Diagonal Cross Wild – spreads wilds to the top left and top right, as well as the bottom left and bottom right of itself.
- Vertical Wild – spreads wilds above and below itself.
- Horizontal Wild – spreads wilds to the left and right of itself.
- Random Spread Wild – spreads 3 to 8 wilds to random positions.
Second Chance
If unused wilds are still visible and no further wins can be made, a worker character may activate them, triggering an explosion on all symbols adjacent to those wilds. This clears space so more symbols can fall into place.
Free Spins
Hitting at least 3 scatter symbols awards 8 free spins. Every extra scatter in the trigger adds +1 additional free spin. In free spins, the multiplier persists from spin to spin and increases every time an explosive wild is part of a winning combination.
Feature Buys
Firewins Factory offers two feature buy options. The first is the random feature for 65x, which grants 8-15 free spins (RTP 96.56%); the second is the super feature, priced at 130x and awarding 15 free spins (RTP 96.58%).

Firewins Factory: Slot Verdict
Before getting into how Firewins Factory works under the hood, it’s worth touching on the theme. Did Relax Gaming create Firewins Factory because they were inspired by Minion-style characters, or is there a sharper social comment underneath? The idea being: it’s already great for a captain of industry to squeeze profit from factory workers, but it’s even better (for them) if they can replace people with AI, robots, or in this case minions to do the hard work. With no wages to pay, that’s even more profit for the owner. And if the displaced workers end up broke and begging while their former bosses pick up a 12th beach house, another Bugatti—this time with teal trim—or a fresh batch of ivory back scratchers, well, who’s counting?
In Firewins Factory, the power you’re really trying to control is wilds—especially the explosive ones—and there are multiple ways for them to detonate and spread across the grid. It’s a solid mechanic: not one of Relax Gaming’s most brain-bending creations, but it can definitely do the job. It would have been great to see the Explosive Wilds appear more often in the base game, though. The win multiplier can help, and the free spins round is the best place to stack it into something meaningful. The review session didn’t exactly deliver constant fireworks, so be prepared for a potentially demanding run, but take comfort in the slot’s 20,000x the bet max win, meaning big moments are absolutely on the table. This is a Relax Gaming production, after all, and the studio has repeatedly shown it can deliver when it counts.
Overall, Firewins Factory is a decent slot with plenty of positives for online players. Still, since Money Train 4 (at the time of writing, at least), Relax Gaming’s output has felt a bit uneven. Not poor by any stretch—its general standard remains higher than much of the competition—but it would be good to see more titles from the studio without ‘Money’ or ‘Train’ in the name really shine, and that includes Firewins Factory.
