Farm Yarn Favourites: Overview
Blueprint Gaming, part of the Gauselmann Group, has been on a real creative run lately, and Farm Yarn Favourites could be the strangest of the lot. At first look, you might think you’ve stumbled into a modded Minecraft world that’s been wrapped in wool. But nope—no need to check your settings—every symbol and scene is made up of soft, stuffed farm toys that look like they’ve just come off grandma’s knitting needles. For plenty of players, that’s a plus. Real farm life can be rough: mud, animals, and early starts don’t exactly scream “relaxing.” A clean, cuddly version with friendly characters sounds far more appealing. Or does it end up being a bit too cute? Let’s find out.
If you weren’t warned beforehand, Farm Yarn Favourites can be a shock when it boots up. It isn’t only big, bold, and colourful—the entire world is built from wool (or yarn, if you prefer). There’s a kids’ TV vibe to it, like Teletubbies or something similarly quirky. Still, the core setup is totally standard, running on 5 reels and 3 rows. In another throwback you don’t see as often these days, the paylines are adjustable, with up to 25 available. So when setting your stake, you can pick 1-25 lines and wager 0.01 to 10 credits per payline. That makes it ideal for small stakes at 1 p/c per spin, while bigger players can push it up to $/€250. Blueprint also includes their Power Play option, which doubles the bet. We’ll explain what you get for that in the features section.

Before we get into the extras, here are a couple of key stats. Blueprint has set volatility at medium/high, and it’s often true that sweet-looking slots can hide a sharper edge. In Farm Yarn Favourites, that edge could be the RTP, which sits a little below the usual benchmark at 95.39%. It’s not the most generous return to player figure we’ve come across lately, and it continues a dip that seems to be appearing more often.
On the brighter side, the paytable is lively and colourful—like rummaging for a present in a baby shop. Knitted symbols aren’t something you see every day, and Farm Yarn starts with neatly stitched 10-A royals, with a chicken symbol rounding out the low-paying end. The bigger wins come from more farm animals like sheep, pigs, and cows. The top symbol, though, is the game’s logo, which delivers a chunky 200 times the stake for five of a kind when 25 paylines are active.
As for forming winning lines, you’ll need three of the low-paying symbols on a payline, while the higher-paying ones only require two or more. Assisting with combos is the scarecrow wild, which substitutes for any pay symbol. In the standard mode (with Power Play turned off), this happy-looking character also boosts any win it helps create by x2.
Farm Yarn Favourites: Features

The scarecrow isn’t just a useful multiplying wild—it also acts as the scatter. In that role, landing 3 or more scarecrows on the reels triggers the Farm Yarn Free Spins feature. Hitting 3, 4, or 5 scarecrows awards 15, 20, or 25 free spins respectively. The real boost in free spins is that every win is multiplied by x3 for the duration of the round. Scatter/wilds still appear and can add their own multiplier effects, and the feature can be retriggered too.
The second bonus feature in Farm Yarn Favourites is the Cash Tractor Trail bonus. This activates when 3 tractor symbols land on the reels. Once triggered, the action moves to another area of the farm where you collect sheep to progress along a trail. Each sheep collected is sent to the barn to be sheared, which awards a prize. This continues until all sheep have been moved, at which point a multiplier of the total bet is paid out.
Lastly, a quick note on the Power Play option, which is showing up more and more in Blueprint titles. A nice touch is that it doesn’t always work the same way. Here, when Power Play is switched on, the wild no longer only multiplies wins by x2 when it’s part of a winning combo—it can increase that multiplier up to x10 instead.
Farm Yarn Favourites: Verdict
These ultra-cute slots deserve some credit, because they often hide more than you’d expect under the surface. With Farm Yarn Favourites, that’s true of its potential, which is stronger than it first appears. Naturally, the logo is the symbol you want to see, and with so many multipliers in play, payouts can climb quickly.
To illustrate, a payline of logos combined with an x10 wild multiplier is worth 2,000 times the stake on its own. Land that during free spins with the x3 multiplier and you’re suddenly staring at a wild 6,000x return. The chances of pulling that off will be astronomical, of course, but it shows the sort of prizes the game can theoretically produce. The numbers get pretty crazy when you start calculating, though Blueprint has kept things somewhat grounded. Even so, with maximum potential capped at 10,000 times the stake, these cuddly characters can still dish out some serious wins.
On the downside, the RTP is a letdown, and the childlike theme won’t be for everyone. That said, Farm Yarn Favourites’ distinctive style could be exactly what some players want if they’re after something different. The bonus content is solid too, especially the x3 free spins round. Features like that used to be common in older slots, but Farm Yarn gives it extra punch thanks to the scarecrow wild/multiplier.
All told, Farm Yarn Favourites won’t be a universal crowd-pleaser—games that sit on the edges rarely are. But if you’re into farming themes, love woolly aesthetics, or simply want to spin something unapologetically cute, Farm Yarn Favourites could be worth trying.
