As expected, it delivered another round of hauling fish money symbols from the water and collecting their values along the way. To its credit, Eric’s Big Catch does bring in a few original touches, which made a back-to-back fish slot run less of a slog than it could have been.

For one thing, it was a nice change to team up with a Viking warrior for the fish-collecting instead of the typical rugged, beanie-wearing modern angler. Eric’s Big Catch doesn’t fully lean into the Viking theme, but it’s still a welcome difference. The same applies to the value-collection mechanic. Seeing wilds collect money symbols during free spins isn’t rare, but it’s a little less common to have it happening through respins inside the free spins feature, complete with a walking mechanic and the possibility of multipliers on top. Even if the foundation isn’t overflowing with groundbreaking ideas, the extra tweaks Stakelogic has added give slot fans a fairly fresh catch to try.
